Great Divide?

Just saw the dance realty show "Just Dance" over the TV. For friends from the West who are not sure what reality show i'm mentioning about here, it's an Indian show. Well, after hearing the comments from the 2 of the 3 judges of the show, i think it's only right that to be precise i have to say that it's a North Indian Hindi Dance Realty Show. One of the contestant performed a Telugu dance number. One of the Judges commented to ammuse everyone at the end of the dance that the contestant will stand a good chance to be accepted in the South Indian Film Industry. This was followed by a another similar comment, to the same effect, by another judge. These comments peppered with sarcasm and heavily influenced with the thought of 'We are superior to you' mentality are certainly uncalled for. Simply reflects the North South divide in India ... and surprisingly still exists .... even in an industry which is suppose to integrate the society and country with it's dance, music, songs ...
