Saw a dead person

About 10 years ago or so, I was riding the school bus home from school... Rather than partaking in the typical shenanigans that would be going on inside the bus, I would normally spend most of my time during these bus rides looking out the window at the world outside. That particular day, as we drove by a house with a large front lawn, I noticed a man lying lifelessly in his front lawn with his head inside a wheelbarrow parked beside some hedges there. I looked up from this sight to determine if anyone else on the bus had noticed it. Nobody did, and I decided to bring it to the of the bus driver. She immediately stopped, and (because we hadn't traveled very far beyond the house), put the bus in reverse and backed up until we were along-side of the property on which the man lay. At this point, the attention of everyone in the bus was entirely on the man. But after about a minute the man lifted his head from out of the wheelbarrow, and a bit dazed, he looked over at the bus (and all of us students staring with our heads out the windows). He jerked his head backwards, nearly falling over. He regained his balance, and immediately stood up. Embarrassed, he shouted to the bus driver, "Oh my, I was just sleeping. I guess I was just really tired..." What a relief!

I too hope for the man's soul to rest in peace and for his family to have strength in overcoming the loss. It's so sad, people dying and killing, it's just horrible Anyway and yes that sight was a really hard one to start a day. I hope it didn't stay in your mind too long and sadden you. Hope you had a nice day.

I hope there is not a murderer or violent robber running around that residential area. It is a good thing you covered your daughter's eyes. You do not want young children exposed to such violence. It would make her fearful and give her bad dreams.

What happened? I hope it's not someone we know. That kind of event doesn't usually happen there right?

That's a really awful way to start a day,but it's a fact that can happen to any of us and we have to deal with the shock if we have the bad luck of seeing such an unpleasant view.Anyway,it's difficult not to get affected,no matter how mentally strong we are,I have to admit that it would be very hard for me to focus on my work in the following hours after seeing that.

May his soul rest in peace. That's is a scary one. Maybe he was salvage by the gang or syndicates. We should be careful nowadays lots of humans becomes violent. We should always pray to God for our protection and salvation.

That is scary and upsetting as well. i wonder what happened to him and why he was just laying in the street like that.but whatever is was that killed him, i hope as you do his soul rests in peace, very sad.

Did anyone call law enforcement or were they already there? I understand how horrific this might have been for you and you were right to cover your child's eyes, that is not something she needed to see. A person being in the medical field i have seen a lot of situations. The feelings that you are having will pass and the images in your head will also fade but it is something that you need to talk about maybe even with your child just in case she did actually see something. That way you can discuss your feelings together. It makes it easier to get through.
