See children what happen when you don't listen to your parents, if they say don't go anywhere don't let no one pressure you on anything you listen to your parents when they are telling you right they are only looking out for your best interest, you saw what happend to Nemo when he was trying to show off and then when his dad told him not to do something and he done it anyway then look what happen he got taken away so listen guys you have to listen.

My 2-year old daughter really love this film. Maybe because of the fish that she sees. But I believe the movie was created for both the kids and parents. Both were taught for a lesson they should learn. Parents should also give there children freedom though they should still be there to guide there children, and children should also learn their lesson to listen to there parents even if they think that their parents are strict, still they were only thinking of there children's safety.

Yes,the kids can learn a lot from Finding Nemo, but this movie shows that when the parents tell not to do something, the kids do exactly the opposite, just like Nemo did. They have to listen to their parents, but they have to be ready to take the consecuenses of their choices.

Ya, I got your point but it's always a part of a child's "growing up" story. If as the parents you always ask your children "Don't do this" or "Don't go there" things then how do they come to learn what lies behind the wall. Yes, there is always a risk involved in such curiosity but it should not always be discouraged by the parents. It's a continuous process between fathers/mothers and their children and the kind of adventures the parents are now very worried of for their children are those they once used to enjoy as kids.

I have seen Finding Nemo for several times already and i really appreciate the lessons it brought to the person seeing it. It's makes us realize the importance of obedience to the elders especially to our parents. When i saw how Nemo's father did his best to find Nemo even to the extent of risking his life. I could somehow think of the unconditional love that our parents give to us also. That even if we committed some mistakes they still continue to care, to understand and to love us even more. Beacuse just like Nemo which is his father's precious one, we too are the priceless gift our parents could ever have.

This movie has a lot of lesson to be learned that's why I like it. Especially for children that don't listen to their parents and do what they want. I think children are curios about everything and want to try it for themselves even though it can cause them danger. But at the end of the day, they will learn from their mistake and really learned from it. Just like the saying "Experience is the best teacher".

there's a lot of things that can be learned from this movie. i used to forbid my daughter from doing "dangerous" activities, such as jumping on sofa, climbing the trees, dig on the ground to find worms (!!). but now i just let her do whatever she wants, as long as her activities are not too dangerous, like play fire or knive. all i have to do is just watch her play.
i mean, life is an adventure for her, so i just have to let her explore her world and learn. yas, experience is the best teacher :)

Lol I don’t REALLY think we can compare life’s lessons with a Disney film, especially when it comes to comparing our children to fish.. but I can see the point you are trying to make. I think all Disney films have hidden messages in them though, to tug at the subconscious of our children, like you say.. wander off, get taken away.. I know my mum always told me never to let go of her hand and never to wander away because someone would take me.. and I used to always think that was a load of rubbish, no one would ever just TAKE me, that my parents would stop them, so I suppose the message in a film that children enjoy can be beneficial.
But then again, the bright colours and animations sometimes enthral children so much, I think anything of importance, such as a message about the perils of disobeying your parents, or wandering off, can sometimes go by completely undetected.
