Hypnosis - NDE Seeing Heaven And Hell

Does anyone of you believe in hypnosis? I don't know if its real or just a myth. I have read on NDE (near death experience) that there is one person who perform hypnothesis. He hypnotized himself to enter spiritual realm which is a heaven and hell. He wants to know what is in the spiritual realm and he also went to heaven. Gosh! He didn't mention about purgatory, but he came back to his own body after he visits the spiritual realm. Oh my gosh... is hypnosis real? Does it really separate the soul and spirit from the body or you just sleeping all the time? How does hypnosis affect those people who want to be hypnotized?

I am sceptical. I have seen people be hypnotized. I was right in the room and they were made to do some odd things and seemed under the spell as it were. I think that only people who are comfortable and not nervous or ill at ease can be hypnotized. Others are too observant and concientious to let someone have this power over them.

Oh really? He he... I have not yet seen people who were been hynotized. How I wish, I could see one. What do you mean odd things? Are they doing some kind of ritual before doing hypnotesis?

No rituals. The person doing the hypnotizing put them in a state with a shining object, then he tells the person what will happen with they hear a certain word or other stimulus. In my experience it was that the person would feel as if their boots were on the wrong feet.

Really and truly I don't think I believe in all of that stuff, to me its weird, and unless if I see it for myself I will not believe in it. They do say though that they can now use hypnosis to make people quit drinking and smoking. Makes me wonder if it really works.

It couuld be the whole "placibo" effect where their minds actually make them BELIEVE that its actually happening whereas in reality its all just in their head. Or maybe it could all be true, who knows? And I heard about this guy, and I have no idea if its all real or just made up, but I am no one to judge because obviously I didn't go through it he did, so only he knows. I actually wwaant it to be real because that would be preettyy awesome lol ~ Pleasure reading your discussion topic :)

I am not sure if hypnosis can give someone an NDE as the soul have to leave the body to travel to other realms of the spirit. When I hear of NDE's this is what happens most ot the time.
