There are times when life gives us challenges that we thought we could not handle. However, if we start doing things, one by one, little by little, at our own pace, soon we realize...we're already doing what we thought was something impossible to be done. If you feel tired, rest and have a break. Then come back with renewed energy. Be strong and have faith in yourself. Don't rush. Take tomorrow as your ally. Don't lose hope.

hey heaven_sent! welcome to myLot! What you gave is a really sound advice. I should bear that in mind. I have the tendency to rush things and that always gets me nowhere. Take baby steps. I should try that.

Thanks. I am very familiar with the situation because I've been there and I've been that. A certain day ends, but there will be another. I'm not saying that we should procrastinate and keep on postponing tasks. No. Health is wealth, so we should not put so much pressure on our mind and body. Let us not push ourselves so much. We all have our limitations.

I know how you feel. I'm without a job at the moment and going through the grind of job hunting can be horrible. There are times when I feel like wasting away and that there's no hope. But I can't always feel this way. I was at church yesterday and the speaker talked about focusing on your strengths and believing in what you're good at and use it. It's challenge to believe in myself sometimes but I know I can make it...Now to see past this tiredness.

I am sorry to hear this. I know how you feel tho. I am suffering from some different mood disorders. I was diagnosed with Bipolar and as I am looking up Borderline Personality Disorder. That scares me since it really sounds so much like me. I was in denial for a long time and as things have gotten increasingly worse I took a closer look and now am actually getting therapy for it. You sound as if you might be depressed. Is this something that just started or have you had this issue for a while? Usually depression stays for a while and doesnt let up.

Hi! WOW!! Is the therapy working? In a way I was depressed this past winter and since I've joined a gym and taking 3 classes a week, I feel a lot better. Still would like to meet more people there though it is hard for an intoverted person such as myself. Hang in there! Good that you are doing something to help yourself. :-)

Hello Nurseclare I know this is not my conversation but I can't go on in mylot without telling something. I just want you feel happy. Why? in case of you think there's not reason I am going to give you some: Open your eyes to the things that you can't see, those are the most important and expensive of the life, even thought God give us those things for free, but is sad to say that we just use them but don't appreciate them. Which things? The air. Could you imagine if we would have to pay for the air? wow! that would be bad.But God open his mouth and exhale air in order in can breath, Oh thank you dear Lord!. The body. Have look at your self in the mirror? Have you seen the tremendous and great of our body? Eyes to see our self and the others, to defend our self from the others. Nose to smell if the our house is getting on fire,to smell nice foods, to breath in order to stay alive. Mouth to eat and be healthy to talk and express our feelings, to defend our self, to explain, to say sorry, to prays the Lord. Ears to listen the others and forgive, to know when we are in dangerous situations. Our brain! that is a great machine that can achieve a lot of knowledge, and remember things that have happened more than twenty years ago, like I do,a brain that help us to pass our exams, the jobs interview, to get degree and a lot of wonderful things. Legs, arms, heart, and all the other parts of our body, OMG a lot of blesses! I know that sometimes the life is difficult but nothing is for ever my friend. I hope I help you and to all the friends that read this response. Please be happy and open your eyes to see all the gifts that you receive each day. Blesses.

I experienced all these things when I was on my late 20s and I thought getting married is the solution but when I got married things got worst and complicated. I can't just escape right away unlike when I was still single if I don't like my job I just simply quit, have a vacation and find job again. Married life is so hard to handle specially if your hubby is not independent and not good enough to resolve the problems that came into your lives.

Hi Jenith! I couldn't agree with you more. Married life is really complicated. I too, rushed into marriage and thought that it was the easy way out. Of course, I was wrong. We have the same situation. My husband can't stand up for himself. I had to shoulder all the responsibilities. Thankfully I have my son who keeps me sane and gives me strength to keep going. Hope everything's well with your life now.

*sigh* oh yeah my son is the only living creature that keeps me alive for now. Hope my hubby realize soon who am I and my son in his life. When he said he loves us, I want to question him right away "really?" but I can't and sometimes I really find the guts to ask him if he really loves us and he said he does but how come I can't feel it. For all the pains that he gave, I can't bear it all if he did that again and I don't know what to do if that would happen again. Sometimes it came to a point that I wanted revenge but the Holy Spirit always enlighten my mind not to do it and maybe because of love. He was too dependent with his parents and I hate it. And now that I already hate them, they wanted me to like them again. If they just think things well before doing anything then no one will be hurt and for sure we will have a good relationship til now. My son is the only wealth that I have. Hope they understand that well and never ever disturb us.

Hello Maricarfull. Don't everybody feel like at one point in the life, is like my mom always tell me,in the life we will have all kind of time, time to laugh, time time to cry, time to work, time to stop, time to eat and starving time, but the most important is learn the lesson that God wants to teach in each time of our life. I hope you feel better!.

All the time. Most of the time it is dealing with insurance and medical things for my son. Sometimes it is just everything in general.

You have the power. If something is going to change in your life...it's up to youto make that change. Youhave to be the change you wish to see. Something as simple as going a different way to the shops than you normally go is a change. You will see, hear and experience different things to what you normally do. It's all up to you. Maybe just getting to be more aware of what is going on around you can cause other things to change. Look for joy and happiness. Be positive. Have a great attitude about everything. All these simple things will definitely change your world. Good luck.

These feelings visit us all from time to time. As a Zen practitioner, I have recognized that one thing is certain in life, impermanence. Such impermanence refers to everything from our life itself, to our feelings whether they be positive or negative. Quite often to try and shake oureselves out of a bad mood, all we will manage to do is cause it to last longer. We need to go with the flow, allow ouselves to experience the mood and then as we watch, it will disappear. Meditation on any state of mind or emotional feeling will help us get through it.. _Derek

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I want to do that too, but because I still have some sanity left I don't. What helps me is to break out in a song, it really calm my nerves and ease the tension and stress.

I think everyone feels that way at one point in their life, maybe more than once...I have felt like that many times, the way i usually deal with it is by looking around me and actually realizing there are others that are worst off than i, and they have no choice than to go on with their life...

In past i had feelings like you several times. In fact every person feels one way or other the same feelings.I got the remedy. You may try also. I am talking about meditation. It gives mental strength and you will never feel giving up.

Once in a while we do get that feeling. Specially if you keep on working hard to make yourself better, and then everything around you is just frustrating. Yes it comes, and it's hard to get out of that feeling, but once you do, you'd be a better person for it. Here's hoping that you're out of that funk!

Hi! There are times when I do feel exactly as you do--nothing is of interest the way it used to be and believe me, I hate it! That's when I tell myself that it's time to change my life a little as I still have some kind of control so I think about what i can change either by myself or with my family. Is there something you want to change and if so, what and how?

Even i too have the same feeling. When i was in college i used to have a lot of friends.I also used to chat with them on the internet or send mails. But when we all started working, times changed.Due to the job pressure at work no one gets time to send emails or talk. Because of this i too feel lonely. There is solution for this.Try to go out and enjoy the nature you will definitely make new friends. If you are sick at home, you can pray to God.He is standing next to you to listen to your problems.

I feel that way a lot! I am disabled and I get tired of everything being so hard! I don't really get lonely but sometimes I just feel worthless. I have no children or even a job and I feel like I just exist for no real purpose.

Hi con! The world is not going to change with just scream and close your eyes. Face the fact that it will only change if we take an action to it.If you feel tired doing the same thing then try to change it with having a little changes in your life like try to do different work, if you feel lonely then hang out with your friend, if you want to scream ride a roller coaster and have fun!!!!(^^)

I understand how you feel since I've been feeling that same feelings of yours lately. I feel lonely and bored of waiting of something. I don't know if it will come. Sometimes I am feeling hopeless of things that I am suppose to be hopeful. It's just that I also thing I haven't live life to the fullest. Sometimes I hate it when others are always happy, always on top while me always down. Yes, screaming out loud will somehow help at least letting go of this kind of emotion by screaming.

Stay positive on things. Do what you enjoy the most and hang out with the people you love. Learn how to divert yourself from all the negative energy. People can die from loneliness because we were never meant to live alone. Fill yourself with love and laughter then you will never be empty again :)
