Was it right to ask Dravid to open again in the second innings?

Hi friends,
You must have observed that Rahul Dravid played so well in the first innings and carried his bat through the India's first Innings. By that he was in the field all four days!
So when India had to follow on why there was no other player to take the responsibility of opening the innings and give Dravid some bread so that he can play on the fifth day with fresh mind?
One can't buy an argument 'because there is no other player to open!' Oh comeon, can't these guys open for single innings?
If sachin says 'I will open for this innings let Dravid take a break and play later, anyone objects?
So it shows that no one is ready to go out of there comfort zones.
Dravid is in good form and confidence so he could have done better on fifth day, don't you think so?
Here, my object is not to blame anyone but why can't these guys think about team and logically?
But now they have the job to finish. Play through out till the end of the fifth day and draw!
Can they do it? We are going to see it today!

No. it was not a right decision to send him to open again. He was exhausted and maybe thats why could not deliver again.
But being a professional cricketer we can expect him to play well though. because if he had got support he would have continued his innings in the first innings also.
So both arguments are right

They had no choice. No one in the Indian team would have volunteered except Dravid. Not even Sachin because they are all concerned about their own place in the team. But not Dravid.HE is one gentleman cricketer who will do anything for the teams cause. yet he get only 10% of the accolades from the partisan media and mumbai dominated commentators

I believe the team has not other choice all the batsman in team were out of form except for dravid i think after gambhir got injured it was inevitable and hence dravid had to open. But to his dismay he got out to a controversial decision from the TV umpire.

it was wrong and very bad decision for letting Dravid opening again he must have rested and if that INDIA would have not lost his wicket. I am against the decision what team mangamnt has taken. I think either gambhir or sachin should be sent to open the innnig and it would be better offcourse INDIA have not lost three wicket yesterday and saved the match
