Oh your poor sister
She has already eaten enough sweets and candies to ruin her teeth at such a young age?
You are going to get some great advice here as we have a dentist just above me

Whatever you decide, I hope that you will help her to understand that candies, chocolate and sweets ruin our teeth and that she must clean them regularly before she loses them all

It is so sad that at such a young age she has to go through such a visit with the dentist. That will surely leave her traumatised for life?

That is really sad and I feel for your sister. My niece had to have a lot taken out at a young age, but it wasn't candy, but because she had a bottle in bed and it rotted her teeth..She made it through, but I don't know how she made it through because I didn't live near my sister...
You said her teeth are broken from eating candy? Wouldn't she have cavities first and then the teeth break from the cavities? And wasn't she brushing her teeth? If it was from candy, she must be really prone to cavities, so maybe whenever she gets sweets, she must brush her teeth right away..

I am glad that she won't feel each tooth being pulled, because it can be painful and she doesn't need to fear the dentist, if she takes care of her teeth..

she did not brush her teeth and,and also there is no second option cause here in London when we went to dentist he said go to a better dentistso we did proper dentist in a hospital so he knows what he is doing, also they now said it won't hurt a thing cause they will give her some injection, she will go to sleep and won't know when it is over.

how can a three year old need 8 teeth removed?
have they been SEVERELY neglected? if so, then the parents should be ashamed of having let them get so bad.
if it's for orthodontic reasons, that seems insane. after all, they are all still baby teeth, and her mouth has a lot of growing to do yet.

I hope your parents will learn their lesson and take better care of her teeth after this. remember the next set of teeth will have to last her the rest of her life. at her age it's THEIR responsibility to make sure her teeth are properly looked after.
in all honesty, if they are as bad as they are, your parents have neglected her dental health. a three year old is not old enough to care for their own teeth unsupervised.

Oh goodness that is terrible. Why does he want to pull them out? Are they in really bad shape? Since they are baby teeth they eventually will come out on their own, I don't know why he would pull her teeth out unless they are really badly decayed or broken. Unless the teeth are hurting her I would not remove them.

I think they won't come out any more, there are that bad. It happened cause of she eating too many sweets, she runs away from them now. But the good thing is that it won't hurt her cause they will give her a injection, but to give a injection she has to fast for hours, other wise it can be dangerous, the injection makes her go to sleep.

If it's possible to take 4 teeth out at first, some days later taking the rest teeth,it may reduce the pain. When she is old enough to communicate with you, just telling her the pain is the essential things that everyone would face.It can makes people stronger in their lives.

They say that alot of bacteria in your teeth and decay when you are young is not a good thing. Not only for tooth loss but impact on other medical conditions in the body. I think that's alot of teeth to loose. I would perhaps seek a second opinion maybe from a pediatric dentist to see if that's surly what needs to be done. I'm sorry she will be going thru such a thing and so young.

Oh poor little girl. I feel so bad for her. I think she should still be able to talk after her mouth heals up. Why does he want to take so many of her teeth out. She will need lots of tender loving care when he's done with her teeth.

Really?! That sounds too much especially for her tender age. I have nephews whose tooth would ache a lot. But here the dentists just give pain medications because they don't pull any tooth off until the child is even. That is here in the Philippines. But I am not sure of the other dentist if they do or maybe other countries with better gadgets can. But if the dentist say that it is okay then maybe it is. But id done at one time, I don't know. It sounds scary. I hope she doesn't have to go through with that. Good luck.

If taking 4 teeth first will work,it is may be a acceptable avenue to reduce her pain. When she is old enough, you can tell her the pain is essential for everybody in growing up.We can learn a lot from it.It's our treasure.
