What is the secret of a big Dowline?

Hi MyLotters, every day I asked me: what is the secret of a big Dowline? Every day I try to refer peoples to my Ptc or other revenue site. A good dowline is very important for a good earning. But Its very hard. I tried many ways: I have purchased adhitz and bidvertiser ads for my ptc with pretty good results. I used traffic exchange; I created a blog with the best PTC and other programs, I have submited offers sign up, purchased soloads and finally tried PTC traffic. I think that having a blog is a good thing, I noticed that the most active members come from the blog, but I don't have that explosive dowline that I would like. The soloads give good results, but are not a good idea (to me) use it for Ptc sites, which often have a short live. By sign up offers you will get more cheaters that users, while Ptc's traffic give good results but needed much money and not all the campaign going well. At the end, there is this secret or not? I have seen many people use to create pages with only banner and little information (only proof of payment). Is a pratice widely used, so it work? I on my blog have built table and try to give clear and transparent informations, but often the marketing rewards the misleading informations and not the trasparency. What do you say, what is your experience? And the dowline secret is an urban legend? :D
