Toad [certain type of frog] sometimes found inside stones and rocks. Several people have seen this when they were engaged in stone breaking and rock breaking. Sometimes the toad are seen living underneath the earth say some 5 [five] feet or ten feet below the ground level. But how is it possible for the toad [frog] to live inside the stones. How to survive without food, water and even without air to breath. I am not telling lie and there is no need for me to tel lie. When I was digging a well I myself had seen one toad[frog] six feet below the ground and the toad was hale and healthy. Living under these extreme conditions is impossible, but this is made possible. What is your explanation for this?

It is how they adapt to their environment. Maybe these toads have developed a mechanism to survive in harsh conditions like that. I also read before that toads/frog breathe through their skin which is permeable to gases. Adaption is the key to survival of every species.
