How patient are you when you experience technical problems?

I am a member of a social networking site in my country. I like the site and I have found some great friends there, but it is very hard to use the site, because there are a lot of problems. Sometimes we can't read the messages from our friends or open the discussions and the site freezes over and over. I know that the problem isn't my computer, because the other members experience the same things. I have exchanged private email addresses with some of my friends to avoid the problems, but I miss the discussions, the blogs and many of the other things. I don't want to leave the site completely, but at the moment I don't spend much time there, because I have lost my patience.
How patient are you when you experience technical problems on a site? Have you ever left a site because there were too many problems?

I am very impatient if the site I am using starts to show technical errors. I have left many sites for that reason only, after waiting for one/two months for them to fix it up! Yeah I might prefer to hang on to them but still it's not worth the annoyance they cause with their never ending technical errors!

I also get impatient if I experience error after error. It is so annoying when you can't read the messages or if you can't use the other parts of the site. The site that I wrote about is several years old and in the beginning everything worked just fine, but about 3 years ago I experienced problems for the first time. I didnt delete my profile, but I stayed away from the site for a long time. When I returned the site seemed to work much better, but recently the old problems have returned

Not very.. I actually broke a number of games consoles when I was younger by attacking them! Luckilly I've calmed down as I got older but still get frustrated when something goes wrong (like most people I assume)

Welcome to Mylot! I have also calmed down compared to time when I was younger. I still have a temper, but I don't break things anymore. I am sure that my husband is happy about that

So long I haven't come across any site which gave me way too much problem. So I'm quite a patient person and can wait for long or try reloading. To tell the truth, myLot at times tries my patient when it doesn't load even when there are not lot of images. It's a tough one.

I have that heard that other mylotters experience the same thing as you. Personally I don't experience that kind of problems. My connection isn't that great (it is a wireless internet connection) but MyLot is not slow compared some of the other discussion sites that I visit. There is one site that it is especially slow, I often get impatient when I am trying to open that site, and sometimes I give up, because it takes so long to open each discussion.

Alot of my technical problems are do to my computer being slow! I try to have patience but sometimes it just runs out! Then I get angry and walk away for a few minutes! I have trouble on Mylot,once in awhile,loading photos and replying to discussions. I know it not their problem! On Facebook,omg! It is a whole different problem! Mostly downloading Farmville! It takes forever! It drives me nuts! I love playing the game! I just wish it would not take so long! If I had a better computer I am pretty sure I would be happier!

My experience is different from yours. Both MyLot and Facebook are relatively fast on my computer or internet connection, but I experience problems on other sites for instanse a discussion site that I really like. It takes ages to open each discussions and sometimes I lose my patience and give up. I think that the discussions are interesting, but it is frustrating that the site is so slow.

i never experience problem with mylot site,it works good for me ,and it never freezes.When technical problem do come i try to solve it as early as possible.

I don't experience any big problems on Mylot either. I have seen some glitches every once in a while, but I haven't experienced any big problems like the ones on the other website. When I have visited or tried to visit the other site it is nice to return to MyLot bacause here it doesn't take 5 minutes to open one discussion and I am able to log in or read my private messages without problems.

Patience is one thing which hate..though i try to make it my first love..it will never let me succeed....And when the matter is related to internet then everything needs to be speedy..For this I have changed my connection three to four times and now finally i now have a reasonable speed...!!

A slow internet connection can be frustrating. Before I moved to this island my husband and I lived in a village in the countryside. We had a very slow and unstable internet connection. Sometimes we weren't able to spend more than 5 minutes online before the connection was gone and it was almost impossible to watch a video on YouTube or a film, it was really frustrating. Today we live on an island and our internet connections isn't as fast is the internet connection that you can get in the big cities in my country, but it is much better than the internet we had in the village.

I have a lot of patience. I am at the both extreme. It may be on the basis of circumstances. If I had any technical problem first of all I will try to fix it, if I cant I will throw or hit on it with angry. If I am in a hurry to search something on a internet and cause any problem, I just dont remeber what I will do. I cant controll myself. Most of the unexpexted occur when I am in eager to do something. I dont know why.

It is frustrating to experience problems when we are in hurry or when we need to find something important. Sometimes I can't log into to the wesite that belongs to my local library. That is very annoying especially I know that I need to return my books within a few days if I don't renew them. It is also frustrating if I need to find an address or a phonenumber and it doesn't work, that can make me very impatient...
