When it comes to using a computer or any eletronic device, tv, cell phone, or any device that requires you to look at something simply use common sense. Tips you list here may help someone, or not help them at all. What's good for you may not be good for someone else. Most importantly, trust your body... because everyone's body works differently. No two people are the same. While identical twins look the same genetically, they react think and feel differently.

This is so true! It is really important to take a break from looking at the screen. I try to take a break every twenty minutes. I just get up and walk around and stretch. My eyes and back get sore if I don't take a break. It does help relieve stress too.

Yes, this is something worth noting. For us myLot users to be able to continue reading, posting and interacting here in myLot and facing in front of the computer, one must take good care of their eyes. Eye strain can be prevented by what you have mentioned. Breaks in between usage is beneficial in the long run. As additional, they say that looking into something green can further soothe your eyes from strain. Also, using anti glare glasses while in the computer can work wonders and may even increase your eyes ability to withstand the strain caused by the computer screen.

yeah you are right. Focusing on laptop cause irritating to our eyes. I have faced this situation. Please dont use laptop on a dark room and put the lights on. It is because why we looking at laptop or computer electron coming from the screen may enter directly to your eyes which cause irritates. Secondly when we put lights on lights rays will clash with some of the electron and vanish of. I wore sunglass when I look to laptop.
