I'd say driving high (the stronger the drug the worse it gets) even with something as (by comparison) tame as marijuana is danerous.
When you're high on mj your reaction time slows down, things are probably moving, distraction is even easier if say you see a pretty billboard. This is with even mild high (not as bad but still pretty bad.) being high you have no clue what is really going on you are out of touch with reality. mushrooms and PCP would I think probably be the worst because you go into another world where you don't have any clue what is really going on.
Being drunk makes you unsteady, among other dangerous things. But when you're drunk you have at least some clue of what's going on around you. There is a little bit of an abilty to control what is going on. It's the choices made that makes the situation dangerous.
So driving high would be more dangerous than drunk driving, which is still very dangerous. However on some drugs you tend to drive very slowly, way less dangerous than speeding.

In my opinion, those two conditions that a person experiences are both dangerous to driving. They are not normal conditions, so most likely you have a hazy reasoning, hence could endanger your life when you drive.
It's best to drive , in our normal conditions.

Anything that interferes with your perception or reaction time while driving is equally bad, both for the driver and anyone they'd encounter on the road..Studies are indicating that driving while sleep deprived can also be as dangerous as any substance abuse!
