I heard people over the radio talk about such scam on invasion on your home computer system scam. Those clever computer hackers and scamsters can hack into your home computer system and take over your account and steal your money. They would pretend to be security experts from microsoft and knows about your information somehow. Then they would ask your permission to let them download some security software, or ask you to get online to click on a hyperlink to download some freeware. When you followed their instructions, you are fall into their trap. They would instantly get control of you online account, and steal your money. Would that be a scary? So, watch out those phony phone calls.

I do not trust anything from MicroSoft to begin with and I never open an email from MicroSoft. I use Apple so I am not very worried about that. Never, and I mean never download anything saying that they are great MicroSoft security software. It's funny how MicroSoft never got their security down to a science. They have always had these problems since the beginning. Maybe they don't care about the users.

Seriously, the things people do to get some money. Why don't they just earn it like we do :O? I'm just kidding.
We have to be careful with these type of people. I've actually never heard of Microsoft going house to house ever since after they tried to eliminate piracy in my country. But they did do an internet cafe sweep once.
They don't even come to your house when your computer crashed because of their software issues, moreover go there just to download some software that enhances security. So just be careful guys. If it helps, whenever there are issues involving software, tech support agents can actually manipulate the stuff in your computer if they need to solve a problem letting you go to a site that allows them to see your PC so there's no need to go to your house. (Assuming you have an internet connection, otherwise they'd recommend you to go to Geek Squad.)
In addition to this, if a tech support agent calls you about a problem that you may actually have, take account that if ever they will ask you for permission to intrude in your computer, the site you be going to should always go through is their software's main website (e.g. http://www.trendmicro.com) not any other remote software (e.g. showmypc.com- because I use this to fix my sister's computer remotely) that anybody is capable of downloading in the web.

That is scary! Technology nowadays has really transformed and so does the criminals. They are now invading even through the cyber world. We should really be carefully of giving away our personal details including passwords on anyone when we are connected to the internet. I hope an action can be done to prevent those hackers.
