Am I getting old, or Am I flat out lazy these days. I just don't want to move, instead, I want to lay on my bed all day long. I was sick on the last couple of days, but I already healed, and I already got plenty of rest myself. Somehow, today at work, I don't want to move an inch. Not ever want to get up of my chair, and help the lady move that heavy box. Gosh, what can I do to sum up my power again, and be energize. I can't be lazy like that, I already notice the fat protein is amass on my stomach again. How would you encourage yourself to be active?

It's just the way your body tells you to slow down and take a break.

You might still have a touch of what you had. That happens to everyone at some point. I get days like that myself. also, I noticed that the change in weather can make us tired.

I know exactly what you mean. Just being sick or recovering from sickness alone will drain your energy out. I work 7 days a week and my energy is gone daily because of it plus the stress drains me also.

You don´t say in your profile how old you are and age is so relative that I have heard 30 year old girls say they are old. If you were very sick, it is normal that your body will start to get active bit by bit. It´s like a car´s motor. Yu can´t make it run fast in 2 seconds. As for me, I´m encouraging myself to be lazy now. I´m on chemo and I have discovered that the d*** chemo is acumulative as they said and makes you tired. So, when I go to the hospital, even when I go for a check up of half an hour, I come home wanting a lunch and a nap. And the nap usually is at least 2 hours long. I will not feel guilty though. I hope the nap helps my body to heal. If it doesn´t, at least it is nice.

For me do it with your love ones, family or friends. Doing alone is boring. After that, try keep the practice. We have to keep in mind that exercising is just for our health. Of course, treat yourself on weekend when you have accomplished your goal.

Hi kingparker, Cherizette and stowyk. As Cherizette have said, maybe you have too much acid in your system. By the way, I think coffee is an acidic beverage. You should start being concerned with your diet because as we grow old, we tend to disregard the importance of nutrition especially because we have the freedom to choose what to eat and when to eat it. If you're not fond of eating fruits and vegetables, make sure to take supplements. By the way, do you have ample time of sleep? Maybe you've been staying up late often than usual. It's possible that your body is doing a recovery.

Fist get a large glass of water or coconut water. Maybe your body is too acidic and you feel lazy due to lack of energy. Look at your diet, get more alkaline food into your diet. Do something new or exciting. Sometimes doing the same old thing brings boredom and laziness.
