[Shared Thoughts] Ever get that feeling where it feels like a dream?

Hey MyLotters,
I've been dating a very gorgeous guy for almost 2 years know... I've known him for a long time (trust me). He and I do the cliche couples stuff and whatnot but still treat each other like really really good friends with cracking jokes here and there and leaning on each other when we're down and all that stuff.
Each and every day from the week he and I dated, it brings me a smile on my face just to know that he and I are one. That I actually have someone in my life who makes me happy and smile and to turn to who's my rock. I just want to pinch myself knowing that this is all real.
Yes, there were a few bumps in the road but we managed to work things out. He loves me a lot and I've never been this happy in a long time. I know it's been nearly 2 years but being in love feels amazing. I feel blessed after all these years...
So I was just wondering with a show of comments, how many of you still feel this way about your special someone?

Well I have never dated a girl before but I have been in love with a girl for 14 years. She doesn't like me. But, I love her. I am afraid to propose my love to her. But, waiting this long for her makes the love more exciting. The more the years for the love, the more will be it become stronger. I am still loving her. I don't know whats her problem with me? But, still I love her.
14 years may be a long time but my love will for life time.

have you ever confessed your feelings to her? Does she know how you truly feel about her? Sure the anticipation for waiting for her is quite thrilling, but you must try to be more determined and try to flatter her in many ways... Be a little more stubborn. How much do you know about this girl? How much does she know about you? Have you been watching her from afar? What do you two have in common?
14 years is a very very long time! 
The maximum I've ever waited for a guy was 3 years but he was not into me and used me so I gave up on everything and someone extremely better had found me.

yes I am just 19 yet. But, I have been liking her from my childhood. During my childhood I thought it is friendship but later I confirmed that it is my love towards her. I know about her everything. I even have a large collection of all her replacements like wrappers, pens, books etc used by her as my memories. They one day might turn to be a museum that I will show to her once. She don't know much about me. She just looks at me as a topper or some sort of thing. You might wonder that during these 14 years she talked to me only twice that too in some subject related matters.
I always try to talk to her but the love and fear inside me prevents that. Yes, I have been watching her from the far and helping her without being known by her. I have my love towards her that is my common thing.

Hi LifeGuru! sadly I have not experience that yet. Well i used to date really gorgeous men but my relationship with them always failed. Maybe I just haven't found Mr. Right yet. The glorious feeling was there but it's more like a one sided thing( I just came to realize that after it ended). Seems like your love life is very healthy now, I hope that he's really the one for you. Cheers for a happy life!
