I got my first discussion deleted the other day as well and I've learned from it and I won't be doing it again.

I don't know what to do ! We're in the same boat ! I am male and my waist has a perimeter of 96 cms. I need to go under 80. I'm 177 cms tall, which makes me look quite decent. I hope I can achieve my goal with the help of yoga ?

it happens when you are new. i know i did it once and i did what you just did here the next day cause i felt so bad and guess what? they deleted it also. hope it flys this time. dont feel so bad. it happens and we learn.

I am afraid that you have to exaggrate if ever you have found it on the internet, or at least combine that with your reaction or your own suggestions regarding what you found on yahoo or any search sites. don't worry you have learned something. just keep on reading the guidelines alright. have a nice day

Good for you to admit it! And realize your mistake, and to promise not to do it again. I guess that sometimes we get caught up in our intentions to help and in our haste we forget some basic rules. That's just being human. Hopefully I see more 'original' posts from you soon!

Hello, what was happen we cannot reverse it, your discussion was deleted, no problem. Be care full in future. Take it as normal thing. When we do some thing a mistake may be possible. It is enough you realise your mistake. Carry on good luck.

I am glad you understand that is is part of the no, no here. We should never judge anyone by the mistakes they make, but rather on how they correct them. I see that myLot is that way too as they do warn and not just suspend. As I suppose Admins understands that some can make these types of mistakes and when they do get deletions they will not do so again. Just yesterday, someone was saying that myLot is a bit unfair when they suspend and not warn. I tried to explain that they do warn as that is what the email deletions are about. Glad you understood and will resume anew, knowing now it was a mistake.

Ohhh friend you are lucky and sincere person and I know you are following all rules and regulations of mylot so your discussion is deleted first time. But my discussions are deleted lots of time. Because I cant understand which is under rule and which is not I know copy paste is wrong but some time only due to subject my discussion is deleted because I have seen the reason this is a type of poll question and so many reasons.

Well, it irritates me too when after typing and typing and thinking I receive a message telling that mylot erase it, sometimes is because I didn't check before to begging the conversation and I just begin a discussion without checking to see if somebody was decided ti begin a conversation about the same topic or the same tittle. But those are the rules here, and we have to respect them, and always check before to begin a conversation.And of course not to copy and paste, because that is just moving words from one website to another. We can copy and paste but adding our ideas and perception of the theme.

I suppose everyone of us has gone through the experience of having our discussions deleted by admin once or twice in our stay here. It is normal and should send an instant alert to be aware of the rules of this site. Though it is a bitter pill to swallow but we come out wiser and not to repeat the same mistake in future.

You are lucky that this is your first one to be deleted. I had deleted many at the intial stages. Yes plagiarism content is not allowed. Its nice you to keep it in mind next time and thats the way learning with mylot and growing with it. Happy Mylotting!

Hi dear, Even if you feel like something is useful and feel like plate it out, reword it in your own language and make necessary modifications or alterations with the no change in meaning or message. It will help and which doesn't mean that just a copy past or from other's ideas. As long as we do a best work it can be appreciated. But need to be our own input and necessary periodic alterations. All i can say is that when a discussion is deleted we have to look at the reason to why it has been deleted and i will also say that copy and paste should be deleted, as it is another persons work that has gone into the discussion that has been started.

I also received notification from my lot when my response was deleted due to deletion of the discussion. It's not only you whose discussion was deleted there are still others maybe for some other reasons. The responses are deleted together with the discussion.
