my boyfriend died 4 moths ago. he has 2 kids who were very dear 2 me. after his death, we still have communications with the kids, we even go out shopping just like what we did before when he's still alive. but now, they don't reply to my text and calls anymore. do i have to stop communicating them?

Why not send them a longer letter or e-mail, asking why they don't reply?

I'm sorry to hear that. It's nice that you have good relationship with these kids. And if they're not communicating with you now then you better go and visit them. They might have problems now and shy to ask for your help. Go and ask them why. Promise to yourself that whatever things they might say you would just embrace and glad to accept it. Don't stop communicating them unless they said so. =)

Once a week , send them a text and just say thinking of you . Or I hope you are ok. And wait and see if they respond. after a month or so if they don't write, then let them go.Good Luck.

Sorry that you lost your friend and its good to know you are in touch with the kids. They might be confused as what kind of care and love they will get from you. If they are not communicating with you, then there should be some serious issues which you should speak to them and sort it out in person. Also there is a possibility of some one else who's guiding them and do not want your interference in their lives.
