Recently I was travelling and I discovered that I had forgotten to take my toothbrush. It was a remote place and I was there to present a project on tribal welfare. There was no shop nearby and we (my son and me)were stuck up there for three days.my son could never think of sharing his toothbrush with me or anyone. If my beloved was there he would have shared his toothbrush with me I think. What about you mylotters?Would you share toothbrush with your beloved?

Hi pickwick,
Its aright that you forgot to insert the individual tooth brushes. There is no problem on your part that you shared your son's brush without hesitation. I do not know what was the reaction on your son's part.
You said had your hubby been there it would have been no problem at all. Because you are like 'do zisn ek jan', means ' two bodies and one soul. Sounds more like the Metaphysical poetry.
If we were in your situation I would rather take some tooth paste on my finger and rub on my teeth or would look for some herbs that people in rural areas use as both tooth paste and tooth brush.

Hi Rajibji .How are you ?
No, I did not use my sons brush as he found the idea repulsive.I used a handkerchief on my finger and paste. But I was wondering how intimate can ones spouse be?So marriage vows should be somewhat like this - I share everything in my life with you except my tooth brush

Hi, pickwick, I am good. Where had you been so long?
My status also is the same. I can share everything if needed but not tooth brush. The idea itself is repulsive.
When doing my undergraduate there was a one year senior inmate in our adjacent hostel. What e would do is that ht would keep three tooth brushes. On asking why three? he would seriously answer "they are for my guest."

Hi Kala !We Indians can also use neem sticks or mango leaves.Being used to toothbrushes oral hygiene seems incomplete without it.Yes index finger too is a good option.Just wanted to test how much one can love.Sharing joy and sorrows sounds very romantic , but when it comes to sharing toothbrush ,I guess not everyone would like that.By the way I am yet to ask him whether he will lend me his.

I honestly do not fall within such a situation.
But for once I gave my favorite brush and toothpaste.
I think that once you are together to share everything.
However, we should not abhor a favorite.
Have a nice day!
Good discussion.

I guess it's okay if done once and if my beloved does not have any cough or contagious disease. :)
