Say you go in an argument with your best friend and you want to end it and get back to the way things were. What is the best way to get things back to normal.

Hopefully it is something that can be settled when both parties have had a chance to cool down. A chance to really think about what in fact went wrong. There are times where a fight does in fact happen and both parties are very much at fault to say the very least. Still going back to the situation without having a couple of days to cool off and really think about the situation, really understand what went wrong, who did wrong, and all of the things, its not a good idea as nothing will be learned from the situation.
There is really nothing worse than two friends fighting, especially when they have reached the point that they can be considered best friends. The most depressing part of that particular situation might be that that could really strain the friendship beyond any and all repair. You might never look at the person the same way ever again, depending on what the context of the argument was. Its very bad times, very bad times indeed.

Tell your friend and say, let's truce on this nonsense argument, and we can get back the way we are. Can you do it too? Maybe your friend would consider your offer, and end such nonsense argument anyway he/she can. Hopefully, you and your friends can make it up.
