I have a strong belief system I believe in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I just think it's crazy how we can't say the word Jesus @ work. I don't see it like a bad word or anything. I do fnd it strange that if you say a curse word then it's like okay what ever. Just don't do it on front of coustomer.?? Jesus can't be use @ all coustomer there or not.
Seems like this world is coming to some type of end. I guess a business doesn't want to be stereotype and seem like a religious group but cursing and saying bad things it shows a better example. We was discussing that yesterday @ work haha. And I laugh I said I'm sure we can say devil, demon, etc..
I don't know... I just want to hear everyone's point of view about this subject?

I also believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is saddening that we are not allowed to have religious beliefs of our own because the way other people feel about it.
I find it terrible that there is no long the Pledge of Allegiance in the school because of the word God being in there, I remember the children sitting down in school and not saying the pledge if they did not believe in God. What is happening in this world that they have to take God out of everything.

Hey brandy,
I extremely agree and i find it to be very sad, e country run better years ago and now thins are changing pele need to remember that this country is a Christian country most of the united states population believes in Jesus. We have a freedom of speech and religion allow us to express ourselves freely. I find it disrespectful and I'm sure God will frown at these things. Some people just don't know better.

I think employers nowadays want to control their workers in every possible way they can, they want to restrict free speech in the work places, freedom of expression, freedom of religion and variety of worker rights issues. It is silly to restrict 'word' in work place among workers, your employer is being dictatorial in giving order like this, may be he is an anti-Christ at heart. The word 'Jesus' strike a fear or discomfort inside his head. lol!

Hey lam par,
You might be right some people might find that word fearful or just don't believe in that person and just don't care for the name. You are right we do have a freedom of speech and religion so why not express that word. Even if it means help of some sort. Curse words are bad to me and so I don't express it as much maybe a mistake here or there but, the word Jesus wowowowow..

In the holy bible, Jesus already acknowledged that part of reality that his followers need to put up with in the new testament, he stated clearly whoever believe in him, and profess his name, he/she will be hated by many and even face persecution. It is not uncommon to see steps are being taken to prevent his name being mentioned in the public domain in today modern world. I will look at it as probably a fulfillment of his holy testmonial.

First off, some people say "Jesus" as a curse word, and I would not want to hear that, and others believe that it irreverent to say "God" or "Jesus" and I would not want to offend them. I do not think that is the problem at your work though. I think the corporation you work for is afraid. They are so afraid of being offensive to someone or some group that they have actually offended others like you and I.
However, if employees cannot say "Jesus" they should not be able to say "Mohammed" or "Buddha" or "Krishna" and the rule should go clear across the board for all.
Some people claim that if employees express their faith it creates a "religiously hostile" work environment for those around them that do not believe. I do not agree, but I am not "big business" or a corporation. Just remember that no one can stop you from praise and worship in your heart.

Hey Gerty,
It couldn't be said any better I agree with you. I just don't understand how people will get offend by using that word Jesus. I will always praise him and if anyone ask me what I believe I will tell them straight forward we have freedom of speech and religion and I'm sure when I apply for the job I didn't give u those rights haha

My first instinct is to say Geez, and I think what is happening at your job is that they are part of the "being afraid" part of this sue happy world. See I am sure that when corporate sat down with human resources and the legal team to bring up this issue it was perhaps because some people do get offended with using "Jesus" as a term and or offensively.
So to avoid all at all ridicule cost they just decided it would be best to ban the word from the work place. Is it silly? Yes. But we live in such a sue happy world that at times does not have their priorities straight in the world, sadly.

Hey HWG,
Yeah that is what I thought lol. I guess some people find it offensive but, to me if we was to use other names or even curses most probably won't mind which I think is just weird. But yeah that's just me. I think in the end rules aren't right when they are not equal. Haha..

I don't say Jesus as merely an expression. I usually say it with respect and honor. I think when i was young, in one of my Bible studies we were taught not to mention Jesus name in a very casual manner or use it as an expression but always say HIs name with honor and adoration.
That's what i believe.
