Dhoni recently said that he is happy with their performance. His argument was whether you win or lose you lose you put the same effort! Which shows laid back attitude. What is more concerning that players seem to take this series defeat as an one off accident. And the problem with that is they might not try to improve their draw backs. They might be thinking that when we go to India we can pile runs and win some series why worry about one tour in England. That attitude won't help much. They should really accept that they had some weaknesses and need to work on them. What you think? Share your views! Happy Mylotting!

Cricbuzz one of the most followed site by cricket fans, especially in India. You can follow live match on their site and chat with other fans. It is mostly reliable.

As everyone quotes, he wants to reflect as a cool captain. But he can't hide the fact that he too failed as a captain in this series. When Amit Mishra can bat for 80+ runs, why laxman, raina and Dhoni himself could not sustain for a while...It's a shame to see the loss of 6 wickets in a span of 15 odd runs... What's the point in getting Fletcher ? I don't see the energy flowing in this team as of now.. Let's wait and see how they perform in the ODI's at least to maintain the title of World Cup Winners !!!

Well its hard to blame Fletcher because he wasn't given any time to intact with players before the start of West Indies or England series so he would take time to settle

Dear Wismay! This is very unfortunate thing to hear such a statement from the captain Dhoni! The performance shown by Indian team at England was nothing more than a Comedy Circus by immature and amateur bunch of Clowns! Any body can say from the pathetic way the Indian team performed that they were all third grade players in front of the Team England! Team England deserves the number one ranking! We Indian are habituated of taking such embarrassments in lighter vein! We all are good audience to listen to all the co*k and bull stories by the so called responsible people like Dhoni and nod our heads in consent! We all know that no body can do anything to Dhoni because of the lobbying, commercial groups invested behind him for the endorsements and the dirty red tapism! Dhoni can weave any bull s*it fables and we are suppose to listen to them and believe in them! Luckily since at the present time all the Indians are concentrating on a very important issue of Jan Lokpal, the Cricket has taken a back seat, otherwise, common man would have taken the task of these players and it shouldn't have been a big surprise if our team is Welcomed with the garland of Sandals at Airport which has happened many times in the past! Loosing and winning are two sides of a coin called as a game! But giving such a statement, which is speaking about the adamant attitude and arrogance of the captain can never be tolerated! Dhoni should not forget that if people feel that he is no good it won't take any time for him to be thrown out of the game! Well, but now having made so much of money this would hardly make any difference to him! Now I think it is high time that Dhoni should give chance to some other deserving candidate who is really interested in Cricket and not in Money Making! Thanks !

HI AKRao! You have given very detailed explanation for the performance of Indian team. I do agree that they should plan better and improve their performance rather than just hoping that somehow they will manage things.

See yesterday these leaders who are having vested interests in this area of sports rejected the bill, which could have come under the right To Information act if passed, just to have the privileges of corrupting he system at their sweet will! I got wonders to see that people are sitting on the seat of Chair Man more than 25 years in various sports and they are not seen doing anything but just making the seat hot by their constant brooding! Thus this is the lobby which supports persons like 'Dhoni' and nothing can go wrong with him,in spite of giving any sort of statement! I also head that Dhoni is planned to be given a honorary Ph.D. too! What a Mockery ? LOL!!!!

That attitude will get them nowhere. I hate it when people think they didn't deserve to lose or that it was accidental, or that the other team got lucky. There is no luck out there...you lost because you had a weakness! How else could you have possibly lost? Because you were too amazing? Even if a team had an unexpectedly good shot and made it, it still meant that you were too weak to block it. They need to change their attitude in order to win, not make up excuses for their losses. I had this problem before, while I was taking Practice SAT's, and after several months, I still wasn't doing any better. I had to change my attitude, and after actually trying and learning from my mistakes, I got a great score on the test. I wasn't ashamed of my mistakes...I learned from them, and now I'm a better student. Happy mylotting!

Attitude is important because it sets the course for how to do things and how one approaches wins and defeats. Your own example is nice, but I think most of us were like that while we were students

I always feel Dhoni is a cool captain. One reason everyone believe is Indians are playing all time compared to other teams. And most of them are injured or not in good health and they are not in full strength to fight with England. I am feeling sad to see the world champion losing games so badly!

Yes, losing was okay but the manner in which they lost and not being able to draw even a single test is what draws criticism.

Well Dhoni making that statement is wrong because India have performed any good talk about , to put in place how bad the performance was this is first white wash in 3 or more test series after 1999-00 and India were not just defeated they were defeated comprehensively in all 4 matches without even fight Even Bangladesh performed better in their tour of England , I think accept dravid nobody should be happy about performance

Yes India got thrashed but it is also true that Indian teams was suffering from injuries and unfit players. India didn't have a good opening pair in this series. But Dhoni shouldn't say like this as it shows that they are indifferent to the losses.

Hi wismay, "Our boys played well. They left no stone unturned" - like press phrases are always in his pocket. They way Ricky Ponting scolded the platers for poor performance Dhoni can not do this for he is a goody goody guy. We the fans suffer but they do not as they have money and money and money brings honey. Hopeless statement was it.

Well statement of Dhoni is incomplete. He should have said i am happy that in-spite of our wrong system of going under-prepared in tours as no 1 team(SL and SA tour),in-spite of players not following proper training program in their resting period,in spite of injured players playing in useless IPL and aggravating their injuries,in-spite of all these in-spites India didnt lose all the test matches by innings and 500 runs.

That is a nice sarcasm! Well whatever you said is true. Players should also become more responsible for their own fitness. If they think that IPL takes toll on their body then they should opt out of half of the games. I know they are bounded by a contract but they can do all that is required to keep themselves fit for national duties.

If tDhno would have given his 10% of effort then it would be England at this place where INDIA is It stupidity and nothing else from Dhoni just hiding the defeat. You right this attitude and felling will not help they just play for money rather than country idiots

Dhoni should not given a comment like this. He must have accepted that their players played a bad cricket. This type attitude will influence the players and will cause trouble. England did not played exceptional cricket to win the series it is because of india's awful performance.

Lets think positively. This was much needed situation for India after winning a world cup. So that they will be on ground before the start of one day series.

You are right in way if it is because of their arrogance or complacence. But I don't think that is the reason. They were really tired, injured and didn't bother whether they would win or lose. So it is largely the case of being under prepared and insipid.
