Did you feel the Earthquake? I hear a lot of people around the states felt it like DC, NY, OH, NC and some parts of Atlanta, Georgia, I'm in NY so I felt it I was so scared because around here we don't have earthquakes.

I'm in Ohio. I was driving when it hit us.
I didn't feel it, but my hubby, who works outdoors, "saw" it.
They were working on a clogged drain. That had ponding over it. He said it looked like it was boiling!
Scary!

I've been to Charlottesville in Va a few times, and was looking for digital editions of the local newspapers when I heard of the event...One quoted a waitress from a Local restaurant who basically shrugged it off, saying She was from California, and that it was a light one!

I live in VA about 35 miles from the epicenter, so yes, I definitely felt it. Heard the rumbling first than felt the vibration, and my first thought was sounds like a herd of elephants or a train coming through the door and I better get out of the way, so I ran for the front door, but when I looked out, the whole world was shaking and it dawned on me -- EARTHQUAKE! Last place I want to be is outside, so I went for a door frame, and it stopped.
I have been in earthquakes before (California and Japan), but Virgina?!! It didn't even occur to me at first that what it was! Not here! Freaky!

Yes. I felt it. I was on the phone with my mother at the time. She thought it was a big truck going by. I was freaked out so I ran downstairs thinking my A/C blew or something. But then I realized it was an earthquake. It was kind of neat to experience, to be honest!
I actually made a discussion about this as well!
