hi zandi yes I know for me the friendship and caring and sharing are the best part of mylot and my earnings are a happy sort of frosting on my mylot cake.In a way its good not to have a set in stone rates here as we an always improve our quality writing and earn more each time as we are paid for what they feel our individual quality posts are worth.So we can always improve and earn a bit more.

If we then spend our time making 25 comments, even on the same thread or the same response, going back and forth, THEN we know what we earn when we do what myLot was created for - discussing. Many are surprised by what they see but then they carry on doing it

hi celtic yes I have noticed that the older ones get more personal and so manytimes I do gravitate there as I get concerned when one is ill or has problems and think wow i did have that probvlem and we did such and such so I go and share it. it may help of it may ot but I tried. I have gotten so attached to so many of my friends here and really feel for them when they get kayoed with cancer or other serious problems.I never will forget moaning to someone about my problems then hearing she had multiple sclerosis and boy did I feel horrid as my problems shrank besides the ones she faces daily.But then I learned to be grateful for what I did have and not worry about what I did not have.lol. live and learn,.

I've gotten to a place where I know when I have made what my goal is for the day. I think the most important thing is to do quality work and let the rest take care of itself. I do get involved in the discussions and how people are living and what's up in their lives. The older ones that is. You notice that? The older ones are more personal and the young ones are all about the music and work.

I am glad new members do keep joining.

hi humbug and garden gerty I am too as some of them become amazing. one young indian woman is making great discussions and also commenting back and at first she got herself into hot water as she just copy pasted a whole article and did not reword it but she definitely wanted to learn and have fun here too.

that is the prettiest eye lol anyway it does get better'the more you do.yep logical and I also like that too. fivehundred you can copy and paste which is alway a help.I find I have to copyu most all I write some afternoons as something wafts away my responses and comments but when copied you c an retrieve your posts.

Ha! I'm glad it's not only me that gets that problem! I have sometimes written something breathtakingly brilliant (said she modestly!) only to find that a rotten little gremlin in the system has spirited it away! My number seems to be creeping up, so I shall watch and wait! Thanks

I spend most of my leisure replying post here and seldom writing discussion, even though I'm very glad to see your discussions getting ample responses It's definitely that more back and forth commenting will keep the discussion going on with vigor. Such authentic discussion not only looks lively it also provides great opportunity for participants to continue sharing their respective ideas in their descriptive quality posts, it's sure that all will earn more at the same time Lol... joy seems like overflowing if always doing so with great fun.

hi lkbooi I also love it when my own discussions get lots of responses and I take time to comment on e ach one then others o me and comment on min g an others so it takes off and becomes a real discussion. We all like the friends who will come back and we will respond and we go back and forth.it makes more earnings for all of us.I love it that we get paid per quality of our posts as we can always improve our quality a little more.

I have been working full time, still am in fact. It was impossible to fit computer stuff in with my work. Plus, I sold my houese and bought another. It was a big job moving and i'm still unpcking. I alway missed my friends onMy Lot.

hi jenny wow moving is the pitts but its always great when you are all settled in of cou rsr. it seems to take a long time sometimes to unpack.with us we were always soing to throw some suff out then my son would say mom don't throw that out.,wecould use it. we had not used it for ten years. lol lol

hi quita mylot is really one of the very best spots on the net and they are truly honest too.we get paid for what we do and if we take special care to do quality work we can make more.Yes its not good to compare our work with others as we should just compare now with what we used to do and see if we can improve o lot.I am very proud to be part of this mylot of ours. hi purplealabaster would you believe I posted a comment here and went off and came back its not here. so it was lost too. darn. so I was just going to say another mylot friend of mine was mixed up too and I told him I guess I did not state this clearly as I was talking about how mylot does not have a set rate of pay for the various things we get paid for on mylot,so we are paid solely for the quality of our posts, the better the quality the better we earn. Now if this flies off grrrrrr., copy paste of course.

LOL! You actually posted it perfectly clearly, Hatley. I was just having a bit of fun here and teasing you, because "rates" and "ratings" are so similar that it would be easy to get confused by the two.

h yspmyl but don;t you see that mylot's way actually pays more if they would just shut up, stop the fruitless discussions, go read the guideline the rules of discussion and the questions and answers as they do explain how they pay.they pay for quality so its open the world is your oyster if you put some effort into your post you will earn for it, and if you improve that effort next time you will make more. may be mylot needs to do more explaining as obviously the hordes coming here are not high IQ p eople but one hundred or less. I had not thought of that. I have a high IQ and supposed a lot coming here also have and could see that we are paid according to how well we make a post.quality over quantity is emphasized in the guidelines.so in essence every tiny detail here for those who are not so bright must be explained in words a fifth grader can understand also these people who only want money do not much care for socializing either I suppose as its even been asked do we get paid for each friend we make? I truly give up at that point.I need money too as I am a senior living on social security but I do not debase myself by being money crazy.I have been in dire straits but still I keep money as a lesser priority than friends and family.

Hi Hatley, What I mean here is those people want to know the exact answer on how much they can earn per post or for each discussion they reply such as $0.01 per post for example. Just mention on quality post is too abstract for many people especially those who only want to earn money. Quality for everyone will be different and if they think their short respond is the best quality from them, that is their quality, mean quality is hard and cannot be measure without a proper instruction such as how many words must have in a respond to be consider as a good quality respond and so on. So, for people who are new and unfamiliar with mylot will definitely scratching their head pretty hard to understand what quality mean to mylot.

hi ravisivan of course we were both right, yep quality here outdoes quantity and I feel sorry for some new ones who are hell bent on making fifty discussions a day then complain that they did not make hardly any money , well for one thing they never checked back to comment on what responses they got and a whole lot of them broke rules so they were deleted.

hi ravision I guess I was not quite clear I mean rates of earnings such as 4 cents for this 2 for that, 5 for something else. I am not talking about the rating of our reputations. rating can be used in several ways and here I am talking about how mylot did not give us a set of how much is paid for things, all we are to do is make quality posts and we will be paid for whatever quality we have. no two people will earn the same thing. Yes type more and have it qu ality y ou will earn more but type garbage no you will not.

hi jeninTn I just hate it when someone really does give a response I dont know sorry.,because I want to yell then why bother to post it and waste both our times.Like you said nobody should come in here and think they are going to make huge amounts of money. those who write so many pages on how do we make money on the net are so naive. they believe all the hooey about making thousands in a week, When it sounds too good to be true, it is not. alot of them in fact most are scams.They get you to put up thirty dollars then give you a page which you are to copy and send to a whole lot of people and on this page its the same words written that suckered you into spending thirty dollars. what a racket and naive people still fall for it and expect huge fortunes. If they accept that you can make a reasonable amount here by doing a lot of participating they will h ae fun, make new friends, and have a nice next egg.

hi bounce I also wish the newones would read the guidelines' and learn about mylot before just floundering around and getting stuff deleted then saying well how do we know 'what will be okay and what will be deleted.I want to yell you would know if ever you just read all the information you were supposed to read before making any discussions at all. somehow they just do not get it. people there are guidelines and rules too so read them and learn.know the 'rules then do not break them.

hi simplyhd yes I did make several things pretty clear if those who have questions happen to read my discussion. to me the advice to relax, stop counting posts and just do quality work while making friends , a nd responding and commenting to their discussions and mine, and having fun and making friends actually increased my earnings.

Correct! Actually, i don't bother taking a look at the number of posts that i had and if it moves or not, whenever i post. That's because i enjoy responding and starting discussions.

hi changjiangzhibin oh my lot admins are pretty sharp when it comes to anyone gaming the system here.yes after all these years and some errors of my own I have learned how we are supposed to use mylot and how we are paid.As I understand it each of us posts and get paid and each of us will probably not be paid the same for our posts.No two of us would ever write a quality post quite thedsame way but we are paid on what mylot admins feels our individual quality is worth.I think this is a fair way to go really as we can all make sure we do better and better as time goes by and we learn more and more of how mylot works.
