Okay so for about 3 years now I have been doing my banking online. There are some really good features. My bank offers a rewards program where you earn money back and get it onto a visa prepaid card at the end of December. I check my balances online and even transfer money. Do you bank online? Do you use all the extended features online banking has to offer: bill paying, checking statements, checking balance, transfer money, direct deposit, rewards programs, seeing photo copies of checks you previously wrote to make sure there is no fraud takings place? What are some more features you take advantage of that you think is really cool that your bank does? Or are you the type that prefers to stay old fashion and do everything inside the bank building?

I love banking on line. My bank offers air miles and my guy and I already have enough for $400 off accommodations at a hotel we want to stay at in Montreal. The bank also has an iPhone app, so I can bank by phone.

Yeah mine has the application and i use it on my ipad, it really makes things easier when you want to access the amount of money you have easily. It seems like it saves me more time. I do not travel much so the accommodations would not be very useful to me.

I also do online banking. It is very convenient and easy to do. I usually just transfer money and check balances online, Sometimes, I do pay bills using it too. But I do have certain transactions which are not covered by the online banking features as my presence and signature is needed in the bank. I hope that they incorporate such transactions on the online banking too.

I think whatever transaction your bank needs your signatures on are probably important and they need to see you in person to make sure that there are no fraud electronic signatures taking place if there go to total online bank. I believe sometimes that person person interaction is important especially when handling money. That is why I at least enjoy depositing money at the main office branch.

Yes, I have changed to online banking recently, and I am very happy with that. I amke bill payments, check my balances, payments to credit card, and so on. It saves me a lot of time. Before , I had to go to the Bank for making those payments, and takes a lot of time. But, these days, just a few minutes. So easy and convenient.

I love how easy it is. I can even keep track of my rewards. It also makes it easier to balance my checkbook to make sure there were no errors.

O yes, i do my transaction via online. It really save us alot of valuable time. Some of the banks here are located in prime area but theres is not much parking. My mom is a business women, always she carries alot of cash to the bank because thats the only way she can bank in her cash. Online banking does only what is already in the bank but not any other easier way to bank in cash like for my moms case.

Yeah I would have to say that is the only downfall to online bank. In order to make a deposit you would have to physically take your money there and deposit it. Unless you have direct deposit then all your money i wired into the bank account. I am sure where she works has this feature because I remember when I was a cashier all my pays went direct deposit! But now I have no job so when i get my child support I have to take it to the bank to pay my bills. But then I do the transactions to pay the bills online!

In my country online banking is not much familiar or popular. I used to go to bank for receiving and depositing cash. Do you know one most of them doesnt know what is credit card. ATM had launched a few years ago. Most of them dont trust online as payment mechanism. Most of them doesnt wish to do because of security problem. I hope we will get connected with online banking.

Hai Amanda...
Online banks really helped me, even I can make an online bank as my business opportunities. In my country such as payment of telephone bills, water bills, electricity bills and also paid the purchase of electrical pulses can be integrated through online bank called with individual internet banking. I get a token as a tool to randomly verify the transaction. So that I can serve the same customers as banks serve their customers, especially in terms of payment and purchase it online. I get the profit-sharing with banks,

Wow that is even more cooler. I am not sure how to go about doing that here. I do not even have a business of my own so I would not be able to do something like this. But I do think it is cool that there is something like this out there! It is definitely new and different to me!

Me too! I've been doing my banking online for a number of years now.
Recently I launched an online business which requires me to do some banking transactions. I was looking for a bank that had no fees for business accounts, and I actually found one that forces their clients to do everything online. Everything is free online, but if I had to go to a bank then there is a fee for everything.

Well I do not have a credit card but I use many online banking services like I purchase on eBay using the netbanking facility and I do check my account statements online.
Now, I had added a demat account and hence I will be growing my banking needs and hence will opt for the faster methods of banking i.e. the online methods...

I use paypal when I go through ebay just to make sure no one ends up with my bank information. I think online banking makes it easier for us lazier people who do not want to drive to the bank. Plus it is available 24 hours a day!
