Nowadays, there are lots of organic skin care products that are out in the market and are getting good reviews from people. And many people are switching from commercialized products into organic products. From your point of view, which product would you prefer? The organic products or the commercialized ones.

Of course it would be the organic one.No doubt about that.First of all,it is way better for your body/skin because it does not have any of the chemicals that can potentially ruin your body/skin.

Actually you can make your own beauty product. Easiest to make is Virgin Coconut Oil or VCO. You can make this at home. Just buy freshly grated mature coconut and have it pressed to get the milk. Put the coconut milk in a transparent container and let it stand overnight at room temperature. Cover the top of the container so that no cockroach and ants can get at your coconut milk. You will see next morning that the cream has moved to the top while a clear liquid remains below. That's the VCO below. Just scoop out the cream on top. VCO is good for the skin. I know someone who rubs it to her skin two hours before her bath. She looks 15 years younger than her actual age. VCO is also a good hair conditioner and strengthener. Just take note that with this crude method of extracting coconut oil, you can use the VCO only for 3-4 days if you just let its container stand at room temperature. It will go rancid after this number of days. Putting the VCO in a cooler prolongs its usefulness a couple of days more.

Thank you RBBantiles. My mom told me that my grandma uses coconut milk when they were young and it is really good for the hair making it super black and smooth. I will do this process and use it as a hair treatment. I might think about using it onto my face but I'll use it on my body. Thanks for sharing info about VCO. :)

I agree with you. Chemical-based products has quicker effects on our skin but only for a few days, after several usage you will notice its side effects.

Hai poc3ng.. Of course, I prefer organic products. Because it contains no chemicals, organic materials are safe to health. All made ??from the organic content is free from pollution and contamination, not unless the body treatment on the outside (especially skin care) but also food products that are free from the deadly chemicals such as pesticides, chemical fertilizers, added hormones or genetic engineering such as transgenic seeds.

Hi ckfree.Thank you for sharing your insight. I am also a big fan of organic food products but haven't tried products for skin care. I read a lot of good reviews about how these products can do miracles on their skin and would like to try but I have sensitive skin which easily breaks out. maybe reading more reviews on the net, myLot members and through friends will give me more ideas.
