I often receive strange sms:
"Mom bought me an electric pulse to this number+64 XXXXXX.
I was in the hospital, send me a quick mom, emergency. I change the money later.
What the hell is this?
You or your friend had also received an sms like that ...
How do I prevent it, uncomfortable at all ...

Hoho! I do receive such scam messages too. But really there are some people still falling for those lame text message scams. It really is hard to prevent such messages if the country you are in doesn't have concrete laws regarding that. Anyway, best thing to do is to ignore them and delete them.

Yeah really ignore it.
I received a message from my friend regarding the case. He says to send reply.
"Mom is now at the police station, father, grandmother and grandfather. Our family has been caught, caution your number has been tracked, you could get caught where you were."
Hahaha... funny solutions

Gosh! Wasn't it already enough that we receive scam emails?
Now there are text messages which are scams on mobile phones too?
Hope that they don't arrive on my phone

Yeah, I hope so
As long as your phone number is not registered for business purposes and are only used to communicate with those closest, I think will not get anything like what I experienced. I also could not figure out where such people get the idea of ??such a modus operandi

Hi, ckfree. Welcome to myLot! I have never seen this type of message before. What I can tell you is that it does not sound too good. Just keep track of these messages and forward them all to your cell phone carrier. Maybe they can give you a new cell phone number that has never been used by anyone, or one that is unlisted.

Yeah, probably could be done like that. I think this trend of crime, in my country almost all people experienced it And if everyone already had experienced and knew it was fraud mode. Then people will automatically ignore it and over time the crime will disappear

I often get that, they even got through my emails but I just ignored it. I have my family's number saved in my cellphone anyway, so I would know if it's really them. But it's not funny to receive those kind of SMS coz you can't help but worry for your loved ones. I wonder how those people can bear to do those kind of tricks just to get money from other people.

i think you can block the number on most phones.. or if not.. you could ring your service provider and see if they can block it for you?
9 times out of 10, you usually reply saying "who is this?" or something like that and i can take all or alot of your credit for you replying.. it's abviously some sort of scam?

Yes, I also had time to think so.
The problem is the number of the sender is not the same, always not the same, always changing. And the number of refills ordered is not the same. So far I just ignore it, try it later may have a friend who had a similar case and he/she managed to overcome them
