Is life so dificult to live on

My brother has been haunted by his night blindness since he was small and unable to see things in darkness. Now he was in his forties and recently caught up with another decease called PSORIASIS, which he has patches around his body. Although he had gone through medication and we have seen good improvement but he feel that he might give up one day if something bad hit him again .
