Have you ever been terrified staring at your own eyes in the mirror?

Once upon a time during my teens, I came down to the living room having a glass of water and looked at myself in the mirror. It was a time when there was black out and I was holding a candle in front of it at 11 pm. Then suddenly I felt so weird when I looked at my own eyes. And it felt creepy. I felt scared staring at myself. After that I never stared at my own eyes in the mirror anymore. I felt so afraid there could be something behind it that I wouldn't want to see. They say that eyes are reflection of the soul. But I am certain that I have a good soul. But still I find it creepy staring at it. Even if it is daytime I don't do it anymore. Do you also feel the same? I don't want to say I may be going crazy. It just suddenly came to me. It is just weird.
