Well I think if a woman is abusing her child she should get her tubes tied, because she can still have babies, and she might abuse those babies too, Or if a guy abuses his child he should get a vasectomy, To me that's the only logical thing to do, what do you think?

It is the logical thing to do but most people don't think that way. I think that part of the reason why they don't do it is because it can cost a lot of money to get their tubes tied, and I am not even sure if a vasectomy would be covered by the insurance.
I don't have the best temper and that's why I am not having kids, is not only wrong to abuse your child, you will hurt your child mentally for the long run.

I totally agree. Recently, there has been an uproar over the Casey Anthony trial. Everyone believes that she is guilty of murdering her baby girl (even the jurors said so). But due to "evidence or lack thereof", she walked free. Now, she is saying that she wants to have another baby. What will happen to the next one? All we can pray for is that God will either protect it, or not gift her with another.
Yes, the cost of a tubal ligaton or vasectomy can be a little high. I believe, though, that insurance will at least pay for a tubal ligation. I know that mine did. In cases of not being able to pay for a vasectomy, though, I have heard of "chemical castration". I believe that some countries use this for men who are convicted chid molestors and such. The men fully consent to take this pill which will stop testicular productivity. I believe that it is not a reversible procedure, and isn't something like women's birth control pills that have to be taken regularly or the body begins to "work" again.
I think that we should go to whatever measures we need to in order to protect our children. Yes, some will say that it goes against human rights, but what about the rights of the children whose lives are shattered or ended prematurely?

CNN quoted her as saying that she wanted to have another one. Hopefully, no man in his right mind will agree to help her out, and I don't think that anyone would help her with invitro or adoption. And no, I don't think you're being harsh at all. I was in Orlando when the verdict was read. I have never seen so many people angry and in tears. I was one of them.

hi bluegemini10 i agree with you if the couple are going to stay together as if they do it to one child its possible they will do it to another. some people just should not have children. they do not want them and society pushes them and the results are nearly
always horrible. She does not deserve to have a child if she resorts to abuse and the same for an abusive man.

Hi, bluegemini10. Yes, I believe that they should get their tubes tied. This is mostly referred to as the procedure of, "Tubal Ligation". A mother should not have anymore kids once she has severely beaten her own child. The man should also get an vasectomy as well. I don't feel bad about this decision either. I am tired of hearing about how many parents are physically, verbally, sexually and mentally abusing their own children. It has just gotten so outrageous these days, of the number of tragic stories that I have read about concerning the abuse of parents towards their own children. This parent/child abuse cycle has got to end!

Hello bluegemini10,
It's wrong to abuse a child especially if they decided to bring them in to this world, I think vasectomies and tubectomies are a good thing that way they wont be able to produce any babies to abuse but they should be put in jail as well.

I agree. People who molest or beat children should be spayed or nutered. It's for the good of the country. But believe it or not it isn't actually legal because the goverment can't interfer with a persons own body and do anything they don't agree to have done. it's unconstitutional or something. They could sue and probably win and the doctors might be fired for medical malpractice.
