4 Seasons! It's something that i wish to experience. I haven't been to a country with four seasons. We only have two seasons here which is dry and wet. The summer is too hot and the rainy season is stormy! We experience the extremes of these two seasons. What would it feel like in fall? I keep wondering about this. Though i've learned that the colors of the leaves are very beautiful as they turn red and orange, it would be nice to actually see them around me. One of my students sent me a laminated maple leaf in fall. The color was orange and she sent it to me so i could see what it's like in fall. It was really beautiful!

Providing we get a good summer, we have all 4 seasons here.. we have winter, where it is bitterly cold, snow etc.. then we have spring, when it rains more, grass and plants start to grow, lots of animals are born.. summer, which is hot, atleast for a few weeks, and then fall, which we all autumn.. where all the leaves turn red and orange and yellow and are ALL OVER the ground.. like you are literally walking on beds of leaves rather than pavement! .. and then back to winter again..!

We have four seasons here in Colorado and I love them all. My least favorite, though, is summer because I don't like the heat. It's been really hot here this year and I'm looking forward to cooler temperatures. It's a little early for leaves turning color but even with the lingering heat, there's a feeling in the air. The summer is thinking about winding down. Pumpkins are getting big, sunflowers are bright, and the sky is a certain shade of blue that it only gets as fall comes near.

I live in the mountains, in Virginia. The Appalachian Trail runs right behind our property (it's a popular hiking trail). The leaves are beautiful during fall. The days and nights begin to get cooler, until winter comes. Then, the only trees with leaves are ones such as pine and spruce (evergreens)...and they only have needles. The air has a crisp coldness to it. The snow is cold and beautiful while it is falling, but it is a pain when you can't leave your house because of it. I am happy to say that last winter was my last one here. Next month, we are moving to Florida, where there will be no more snow. I'm ready for the beach!!! LOL.

There are a lot of people who absolutely love winter. I am not one. LOL. But I can see your point. I am glad that even though it isn't a time of year that I particularly enjoy, I have had the experience. I hope that one day you will, too. And I also hope that one day I will be able to fit into a bikini!! LOL. I am not into winter sports like snowboarding, but I love any and all watersports. Swimming, surfing, bodyboarding, fishing, you name it, I like it. Hopefully, I will be able to swim more since we are moving to the beach, and I can work on my "beach body". LOL.

Florida watch out! You should buy a Fitflop and walk around Florida. It really works in toning down your legs and your butt! You would enjoy walking around in a pair of Fitflop! Oprah is endorsing it and well, so am i now. It's light and comfy on the fit and you would really enjoy walking compared to other flitflops out there. It really feels like you've been working your leg out on a gym. Try it!

Well it's not fall officially but it feels like it! It still is summer but the weather is so pleasant, I can't believe it. After all the sun and the thunderstorm we have finally got a pleasant weather Anyway the fall feels really pleasant. It neither hot, nor cold, just perfect, almost like Spring. And yes the leaves changing colors are just so beautiful to look at. Our school owns a massive compound and we can see the leaves there without going anywhere too! The spring and autumn feels like heaven there. In autumn, the leaves turn red orange-ish and orange or yellow, it's indeed really pretty. I hope your wish comes true soon and you get to experience the wonderful seasons.

I honestly never thought of what it would like to not have all 4 seasons. From where I am from here is usually how it goes Spring- absolutely beautiful because all the flowers and trees are coming back to life. It's very colorful too. The sounds are amazing as to where all the animals (birds, crickets, frogs, ect.) start coming out again. It's usually warm durning the day and chilly at night. Summer- animals are all still out and the flowers and trees are still out and beautiful but it's miserably hot durning the day and at night. Not my favorite time of year at all. But, there are MANY who love the heat and go fishing, rock climbing, hunting, hiking, etc. Fall-back to the warm days and cold nights. The flowers and trees are starting to die, but as I said still beautiful with the colors and things. My favorite time of the year because you can just get out and enjoy the beautiful world God has given us, just as in Spring. Winter- bitter cold days and nights. Snow usually covers the ground and is so much fun to play in!! Hope this helps show you at least a little of the different seasons!! =)

You live in a tropical country that has one wet season and one dry season. I live in a temperate climate in Europe. We have summer from June to August, autumn from September to November, winter from November to February and spring from March to May. In my home country we call it autumn and those in North America call is fall. It is just the same in my home country with the leaves turning orange and red once they fall off the trees. In spring the trees get new green leaves. Fall is a popular time to visit Boston and Cape Cod.

In fact one of our biggest festival Mid-autumn Festival will be coming soon. It will be on September 12th this year. However, I can't feel any sense of the autumn. It is still like hot summer now. We can go out to swim. And it is quite hot outside. Usually the autumn will not arrive here so soon. I guess maybe it will be coming in October. I love China

We certainly have 4 seasons where I live. I could live without the snow stormy winters but I enjoy the other three seasons. I love fall there is just something in the air, the smell of the leaves changing, the slightly cooler breeze in the air is very welcome after the hot summer and yes the trees are beautiful. The leaves turn amazing colors. Fall is probably my favorite time of the year although Spring is often very nice as well. It is warm but not hot and the leaves begin returning to the trees, and the flowers start to come up from the ground and bloom. Spring and fall are magnificent times to see nature at its best and it is not too hot and not too cold. Although in April we usually get a lot of rain.

Yes, even here in Greece, we don't really get the four seasons that I grew up with. You have to go to the northern parts of the world to experience the seasons fully. By the way it's still summer, autumn or fall is still a month away at least. Could be longer if we get an "Indian Summer", meaning an extended period of hot weather.

I can not believe it is almost fall here already. I am watching right now as people are taking the air conditioners out of the window. I do love the fall and spring but the summer and winter are hard on me because of my health. I think if you were in a city with four seasons it may get boring quick though. It is to me.

In my home country we haven't four season too. It's almost like as in yours. But in Europe there are many countries that really have four seasons. The fall is a wonderful season. The leaves of the trees become amazing colors, like as yellow, orange, red, brown and some more. You can go walking trough the woods which paths are covered of lots of dried leaves, that when you step on them make a nice noise. I wasn't in USA or Canada, but I think there you can also have such experience.

Be careful what you wish for. I've lived in Asia, and I know what's it like to only have two seasons. You are actually not missing much. Along with the changes of the seasons here in North America, the things you don't hear about are how cold and how hard it is to drive in winter, how gloomy it is in the fall, etc.

We do have all four seasons here in The Windy City, though I must say the months are sometimes off. We are in the heart of summer still here and very hot and humid right now. We are suppose to experience fall in September and sometime it can be late August and or October before it happens. Yes we get a lot of orangy red leaves during our fall seasons here.
