Hi mylotters, We will be having a vacation this september in boracay it's our first time to go to the place and we where excited. But until now we don't have an accomodation we are looking for a cheap accomodation because we have only have a tight budget and we thought that we are outside all the time so there is no need to have a expensive accomodation. Any suggestions? Also suggestions what to do and where to go?

We stayed at an affordable hotel at Station 2 named Tan's. Room starts at 1,500 during off-peak season. It's not a beach front hotel but only a 2-minute walk from the beach. I think it's best to stay at Station 2 because it's near the D'mall and Talipapa. There's nothing more to do than enjoy the beach, eat lots of seafood and go to the stores to buy "pasalubongs". :)

Considering that this is your first time in Boracay, I suggest you choose an accommodation located either in Station 1 or Station 2. Station 1 accommodations are somewhat expensive. You'll find reasonable accommodations in Station 2. La Carmela de Boracay I've heard is cheap but a good accommodation. Don't expect too much with those located in Station 3. The first time I went to Boracay was also in the month of September, two years ago. I stayed at Boracay Mandarin. I availed a package from PALakbayan (Phil Airlines). I was really satisfied with the accommodation. Too bad, it was stormy while I was there. Wasn't able to try the adventure activities. But enjoyed eating. Don't miss the Jonah's for the fruit shake, Hawaiian BBQ Restaurant is the best baby back ribs I've tasted.

first and foremost is you must know the boracay beach is sectioned into 3 stations namely stn1, stn2 and stn3. The best and expensive resorts are in the stn1 and all the happenings and dining areas are in stn2 and lastly the crampy and very affordable accomodations are in stn3. goto www.myboracayguide.com they have all the nice accomodations that will suite your budget
