One think i'm not understanding why the government is against the jan lok pal bill if this bill is good for our country and will uproot the corruption from our country so why the government is not implementing it. What i'm thinking might be government are fearing that if this bill will get passed then it will reveal lots of secret of their members of the government parties certainly this will be the fact that's why government is opposing this bill.. what you thinking friends about this..?

hmmmmm mostly i think the Government wants to pass the bill too but its own version....which is pretty weak but what Anna Hazare and team are demanding is more substantial and the Government may end up being a puppet so they stalling it....But Government in democracy is SUPPOSED to be people's choice so if people want the Jan Lokpal passed then it should....lets wait and watch...but i read through viji's answer and i guess that makes sense if one person ends up with all powers we may have a bigger problem on hand..

Yeah true if all the people are want to implement this jan lok pal bill so what is wrong with government our country is democratic and has a definition a Democracy is the government of the People by the People.
Might be our government don't know the definition of democracy...
Thanks friend for the nice response

I think it is very clear to one and all why the govt. is opposing the Jan Lokpal bill. This is the most corrupt government in the history of our country. So they are definitely not in favor of legislation that would stop them from being corrupt. I think that is the root cause of this opposition.
Cheers!

I think they dont want to protect the corruption because if the corruption is stopped then they not take more money. I think the Govt. will not support to the Anna Hazare this problem will not solved and after Anna Hazare no one can take this steps to stop the corruption.
