"Like" button in Mylot...

I was browsing the mylot pages for discussions to answer.. I think well i guess maybe i can look for a good topic to respond to, when i come across some topics i "lik" but is just not in the mood to respond to.
I thought, hey Maybe mylot can put a like button for every topic.. we can "like" them and you get extra points as the thread starter because your topic is very well accepted by mylotters. haha even if they do not respond to the discussions... right. hehe
Do you think its a good one?
Well, maybe this is already present though, by rating it + or - ... but i guess its just that we do not see how many have actually rated the discussion, right? ;)
wohoo will this ever be possible here on mylot?!! im excited!

The rating system is used for that purpose here on myLot and every day we can see on the home page the highest rated discussion of the day.
We can see on the 'top' and 'hot' disussion pages the discussions which are busy and surely that means that they have been plus-rated too?
The 'like' button is on Facebook while here on myLot we have the DRS - Discussion Rating System

Who are you suggesting should be paid?
If other users like our topics they will respond on them (causing them to earn) and then we can comment ontheir response (causing us to earn.
Here on myLot we have to DO something if we want to earn and I am happy with that. I have never earnt offline because someone else did something and I believe that others should be paid if they do the work.

Who are you to say that suggesting should not be paid ??
There are many sites that pay us for just staying offline like article writing sites,this sites paying a lot,sites like triond,bukisa etc are quality sites that pay us to do work and stay offline.,
do you know i'm still getting earnings for triond for the work that i done a year ago,so please don't try say this type of unwanted things...!

That's a great idea! I was thinking about the same thing recently whenever I can't find something where I can respond to but I like the topic. It's like, I don't have anything to contribute to the discussion but I totally like the topic so I wished I could show that I liked it just like how you like a post in Facebook.
I really hope myLot can make a feature like this. And of course, it will be good if we can receive an incentive for it! But I guess with that feature, everyone will just be liking everything just to get the incentive or the point. Oh, that's one downside of it.

but, uhmm well the rating system is possible, we can rate + or -. but it won't show how many has rated the discussion, even me i guess as the thread starter has no clue?
he he its just something like being able to see what people thinks of our discussion right.. :D

Yeah it could be added, but then it would be something like getting paid for easy work and I guess on mylot we are here to earn by working hard!LOL (just kidding) But seriously I think every site is unique in its own way and if they all started having same features what would be the difference??

Are'nt we have the the like buton here on mylot?
The + & - sign that is the like and unlike button and it is for the sake of the mylot admin to have a better viewing of the discussion and make the user to have better and quality discussion.

I think it is a great idea if mylot puts a 'like button' for every topic, because there are a lot of great discussions, but we don't always have something to comment on the subject or we simply don't feel like it to respond so we rather leave it. so if there were a like button it could be very convenient for those days

For me I think, that's better. I don't really on what is the price of my new discussion because I cannot see the breakdown of it. Well, sometime I don't mind about it, I just enjoy and loved What I am doing. But for your point of view, that's a good one.

Facebook is unique in its own way and so is mylot they are putting a like button will be some thing like cheating from facebook and and that will make mylot loose its respect on the other hand as AuntD said above instead of like buttons mylot has its own Discussion rating system.
