A couple of weeks ago, I was thrilled of receiving a very wonderful gift from my husband. He gave me a very beautiful covered Bible from a Christian bookstore and wrote some notes on the first page. He is a pastor and let me share to you his note: "To My Dear Wife, It's good to have you with me in my journey, and it's greater to have God's word to be with us to guide and lead us when we encounter storms in life." I was teary-eyed when I received this gift because I was thinking of really buying a new Bible since my old one is already old. I praise God for this new gift and for my husband. A blessed day to all!

That's so sweet. What a wonderful gift and such a lovely little note! I want to marry as well as you have. I think one of my favorite gifts was also a Bible, one with four translations all put inside and my name engraved on it. It was a beautiful Bible, I already had two or three already, but I don't think you can have too many Bibles.

Thank you but you know, it's never bad to have too many Bibles for me. Because personally, in our church, we discuss and learn together using different translations and study guides provided by the Bible and it help us with looking into many Bibles. It's indeed a wonderful gift and I'm praying for a wonderful life partner for you too! God bless!

Thanks, I could use some prayers in that department! We do similar things in our church and I like reading multiple translations of the Bible. It helps to understand it better, and I like how no matter what the translation... the message really is the same.

That was a very beautiful thing for him to write. What translation was it? A KJV? NKJ? NIV? What type was it? I.e., Scoffield study Bible? Thompson Chain?

Hello Pastor, glad to have you here. It's an NIV translation because I always prefer my Bible to be it and it's plain with study guides but I love it. Thanks for stopping by. God bless you!
