arunadas -- it depends on value system of the person concerned. If one wants to speak he will tell a truth and bring tears. If one is tactful he will tell a lie and bring a smile. I for one would like to opt for the second. what about you?

Hello Ravi Sir please call me Aruna :) hmmmm as for me i prefer the truth both saying and listening ...but at times i have lied to spare someone's feelings ....but i always make it a point to let them know the truth later....truth is hard but better any day :)

Hi Arunadas!
Long time my friend since I have seen you on myLot. I was away also so we may have crossed on here.
As for me I believe the truth in the long run will bring on acceptance. See a lie is hard to forever maintain then not only will it bring tears but anger may kick in and no respect will be maintained.
The truth will definitely bring on a tear but in the long run there is respect that one upholds and I although I may not be happy with the truth, in the end I will always respect the person.

I think truth would be the difficult, and its hard to say it while compared to lie, we all lie in life at some point of time than truth, somethings are better not to be said specially if it brings other harm, But that doesnt mean people should lie on everything those sort of people who always lie to other wont get anywhere with it thats for sure.

Hello Fireheart Thanks for your reply and i like what you say....we got to lie at times but not all the time....i don't there is one person who can honestly say i have never lied in my life...well that itself would be a lie :) but yes we cannot keep lying all the time :)

A lie will bring smile for a short period and one has to tell lie in order to sustain former lie. Truth is most successful in life, one can sleep with peace and also tears is for short. Even if we have tears in life because of telling truth, you must understand there is God who is seeing your activities and you will rewarded on the day of judgement.
