Teaching a language for free or for paid

In the future I want to be an English teacher. Sometime I think if will be able to survive from this kind of job, or activity. Same time I see everyday a lot of people teaching online for free. Then I started to think is better to have a job or a business and to teach for free like a hobby, from passion. What to you think? Is good idea to teach for free?
