India won by 6 wickets against Sussex in a ODI match. India won the toss and chose to field. Due to rain India was given 235 target and overs were reduced to 45 overs. Virat Kohli hit 71 runs and Rohit Sharma remained not out on 61 runs. Parthiv patel opened the innings with Sachin and scored 55 runs. India seems to be back on track in ODIs. Interesting to observe was that those who played recent Test matches failed again! Sachin could score only 21 though he was looking good and Raina got bowled for 12 runs. ODIs series against England looks to be competitive and interesting. Share your views. Happy Mylotting!

Hi, after some terrible defeats finally India is on the way to the victory. Virat Kohli performed really well in the match. He has scored 71 runs. Also it very interesting that three batsmen has scored half-centuries at the beginnings itself. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Parthiv Patel. All the very best wishes for the Indian team.

At last nice see that team India winning a game in England, even though it was a practice match. Also it was nice to hear that Raina, Rohit, and Parthiv made significant contributions in India's win. And also it's a chance for team India to be no:2 in ODI ranking if they could win this series.

And its good to know that young players got involved in this victory. Virat and Rohit both are very talented players. And I hope they will continue their form in next matches too.

Yes, finally Indian team got something to celebrate in england and also players who played were kohli sharma and patel in batting and people who haven't performed in test matches are still to perform and play their role in this tour..... Indian team might just give a real tough fight to england in this odi series because of bad record of england in ODI's

I think more than this win itself in the practice match against a county side like Sussex, it is more heartening to see Indian cricketers esp. the young brigade, be it Kohli, Rohit or Patel scoring some useful runs, getting some form and confidence going before the important upcoming One Day Series against an inform English side. It is important therefore that spirit in dressing room of Indian team is lifted quickly and players start believing in themselves more and start performing as a unit more which they are quite capable of. They also need to be far more disciplined both in terms of match fitness and match reparation to outsmart and outperform current English side.

The victory against the sussex must have build the moral of the Indian team, but this not the English side to whom India is going to play, Practice matches are played so that players can suit to the weather condition of that place. Let us look forward for the real match against the English side, If India is able to dominate the English side then England is in great trouble.
