how is internet enhancing social life?

Okay, with the vast number of social networking sites. What do you think is the impact of it all on our social life? I know its enhanced the way we interact with people nowadays but in terms of privacy, security, and truthfulness, is the internet really enhancing our social life? and what about people we meet outside the internet world, has it changed how we interact with them??? I wonder.....

internet is no doubt has changed the way we interact with people. it has enhanced our social life, as you say it. any expansion of social space means more space too for security and privacy threats to lurk and operate. however, these threat won't be able to stop people from continuously expanding and enhancing their social life because it is in our nature to connect and interact with people.
