Finally, I started at all this three sites.
1. Getting profile up for all is tough! Putting in pictures, details, really PITA :)
2. Test, test, test. Crazy! So many questions and I wish I have clones to do for me.
3. Bidding, this is fun. Started bidding and looks good (fingers crossed)
Result:
Got a pm from one of the project managers (or whatever you call it). A few pm-s and I do hope I get the job for writing :)

Good luck to you. I did join odesk and freelancer. I got a captha entry job in freelancer. I worked for 4days to complete a certain number of captha. After completing i got no reply for all my messages from the employer. Now it has been 15days and still no reply. So be careful and communicate properly with your employer.

Best of luck but like any body be careful when in contact with project managers. Congrats and be safe online most of the sites are not trustworthy.

I've been member of the above 2 sites, oDesk and freelancer. It's not easy to land a job in there because there are tests to be taken. With each passed test, only then we are qualified for certain jobs, and not all. With the bidding, it's even worse, and most employers in there, preferred members with experience and good ratings. As such, PM is normal because nobody wants to be outbid, and everything is kept a secret.

Good luck to you Nicregi. I am working for one of those sites. I would like to hear your feedback from the two other sites as well. I hope their site is just as easy to use as odesk. Sometimes you get interviews and promises that you will be hired only to be forgetten. But the key is to not be defeated if you got rejected. One day you will find yourself hitting the jackpot.

Good luck nicregi! I hope you'll refer me if there's still hiring for writers. I'd like that work too since I was in high school. Thank you in advance if ever you'll inform me about it.^^

nicregi, good for you. I hope you get some good job offers and do very well. I signed up with odesk and did some tests and all, but I just wouldn't put in the effort at the time to get all the details done that were needed. When I feel I am up to it, I willl go back and try again.
I think for one, I was expecting more pay than I felt they were offering. I have noticed as many of you, that you have to lower your income expectations on the net.

congratulation, I also want to do work on these sites, but do not have any particular skill. Not good in article writing,I am thinking to do course on web designing to get job on these sites, but donot have money for courses as well.
that's why i have joined mlm business which is free to join and having great plans and quality products to sell, so in these days i am promoting that.

Goodluck to you! I also tried odesk a few months ago and I really enjoyed the tests! I passed all the tests I took with above average grades But I got disappointed when I tried to actually look for a job I wan to work on. Most of the jobs I want requires too much .. And so I gave up on it. I figured Odesk just wasn't for me. BUT there are many people who are enjoying their work there! I hope you will be one of them soon! Goodluck!
