All Dead! PC, Modem, Router and TV Box

We do not know what happened but when we tried to turn on our desktop computer, it won't power up. We noticed that the modem, router and TV box power indicator lights were also out. Does anyone here have any idea what happened? How can 4 pieces of computer hardware and peripherals just die all at the same time?

I would suggest you to check power supply cord first, remove the plug from the socket and insert it again. Check if any other electric appliance works or not in that electrical socket.
This sort of thing did happen to me when lightening stroked near my house and I had to change mother board , power supply and router.
