Sarah Geronimo: The Hottest Singer in the Philippines?

I saw in one of the news via google that Sarah Geronimo is one of the hottest star in the showbiz industry. Well, I should say that she really is. I went to youtube to see her videos and each are earning a lot of views in a maximum of million hits! Wow, that's just amazing. Personally, I like Sarah. She may not be that of a very good singer but I like her voice that she transforms into an instant professional performer when onstage. With her talent in singing combined with dancing no wonder that many people love her. Aside from being a singer, she is also an actress and humble for she always use "po and opo" words (which are respectful words in Tagalog) during her interviews. I'm not that of an avid fan of Sarah but I like her. :)

I don't like her, no personal reason but it's just an instinct that I don't like her singing. I'd love listening to Charice Pempengco, I think she's better than her.I'm sorry, I want to be just honest with you ronadelle.

I'm afraid I've never heard of her until now, but I love the name! And as soon as I am done writing here, I am going to listen to her at You Tube. That is one of the wonders of the internet. I'm from England; yet I can listen to a singer I probably would never have heard of ever in the pre-internet days, all thanks to the miracle of the world wide web. Thanks!

Hmmm, for me she's not hot though she's really okay, especially the voice. I also like her as an actress. I remember I've watched her movies teaming up with John Lloyd Cruza. Sarah Geronimo is one good example that people succeed when you dream and persevere.

Correct, that's why a lot of young people/teenagers want to be like her because she's an example of a girl who dreamed and persevered.

Well, I wouldn't really call her the hottest. But she is ONE of the hottest, though:) I definitely consider her as the greatest singer in this generation though:) she can do pop, ballad, any type of music really. she can dance really well, she's witty, she's kind, and she can handle crowds like a pro. the only downside is her overbearing parents.

I'd like to sigh on that. I hope that her parents will give her freedom because I heard that she never had been to parties or mingle with friends. She's being suppressed from the things that a girl her age should enjoy.

I am a fan of Sarah not just as a singer, but as a total performer, gosh she really does transform when she is on stage, i would have watched her concert last January here in Cebu City but then i did not get any tickets so i will wait for her nex concert next year.
She has a movie coming out paired with John Lloyd Cruz, the part 3 of Laida and Miggy love story, for now the 3rd title is "It takes a man a woman". Will i watch it? I do not know yet, maybe not, i still like her as a performer, and i know that movies like that it will be corny.
And she just announced on her show which ends today that she will be one of the mentor of The Voice Philippines...good for her and i hope she will go far in her career.

Yes. And I will have to agree that she's a total performer. She can dance. She can act. She can host. She can sing. And almost she can do everything except enjoyong her freedom (her mommy divine is her jail warden - lol).
I was able to watch her concert with Martin Nievera and I know he is a total performer as well - except dancing and I know how proud is Sarah to be acknowledge by someone like him who's been in the industry for years.
I have always been a fan of her and I hope she'll do good.

Yeah, I like her too as a singer and an actress.I guess she can sing any high note song.Charice P have the same ability so they have their own fans.I guess it's Sarah's time now as a local singer while Charice is considered international.

THat's right. Honestly, I don't know why fans argue about who and who's better. Because for me, they have their own unique talent and that's what made them popular. No need for comparisons.

I'm not a fan as well but I really like her personality. She has that humble charisma that we Filipinos love. Her voice is also good but there are better singers out there, the only difference is that they are not as established as Sarah themselves. For me, she already has a place as one of the Industries Greatest because of all her accomplishments.

Sarah is a great a singer! and I'm proud of her and to those singer who sings like her. Actually, singer has different styles when singing and that makes them unique from each other. Thats the reason why some are popular, and some are not. But all i can say they are all great because i cant sing the way they do :)
