Wow, you are 42 years old. I had my wisdom teeth removed when I was 18 years old. They were growing sideways. No is no fun and is painful. You will feel better once you get it remove.
The dentist told me that it was better to have all of them taken out instead of one because they would start to hurt again.

I know that's never been a fun having at toothache.
I am not afraid when i had my operation but having my tooth extracted is not a fun for me and I am more scared with it then those knife to slice my body (duh)
I am sure that would be a relief once your tooth will be extracted.
have a good day always

I also experience tooth ache because of my wisdom tooth. It's pushing all the other teeth forward so it also hurts so bad. I've tried going to the doctor but the operation is too expensive I didn't went on with it.

First off, I hope that dentist visit worked out well for you.
The last time I had shoothing pains shooting in my jaw, I immediately called the dentist. I did not have any scheduled appointment, but I told them I was willing to sit out in the office waiting for an opening, than suffering through it alone.

I think that is the best medicine so far that anyone can recommend if all other medications fail to treat it. I had mine removed some years back and I have no regrets, that tooth was so painful that I could not take anything hot or cold. I spends a month in this agony and lastly I said 'NO' to a painful tooth. Yes! I have a gap in my premolars but that was worth it.
Go for it and don't look back...
I wish you all the best

Good luck, Linda. Do not fear! Once it's taken care of, all will be well and pain will no longer be an issue. For now, just type away your unpleasant sensory to keep time passing and divert your attention from it. (HUGS)
