To all dog lovers out there, THE DOG WHISPERER is a must watch series! The dog whisperer, Ceasar Milan, is a dog psychologist. He is really amazing! He can understand how the dog behaves and thinks, and knows how to handle and rehabilitate them especially those dogs who have attitude problems.
He rehabilitates dogs, and trains the owner. Because of this show, I've wanted to go and get my own dog as well.

I thought the show ran on National Geographic? Is Greek TV a station or like you meant It ends up on television in Greece? The show is pretty popular and is rated very high on IMDB. What do you hate so much about the show? I mean if you hate this, you must really hate those horrible reality shows Ha ha.

Hahahaha I totally agree with you! Some of my friends here who has pitbulls really wants to meet Ceasar and wants to have a piece of his knowledge and guidance in handling/raising dogs.
He is also giving a lot of wisdom to the viewers, such as "The most basic need for them to drain all those negative energies is to have them exercise/walk."

the techniques are very effective.
it's remarkable how easily a dog can pick up on the change in your energy just by you thinking something, and the subtle changes that causes in your body.
our deerhound can sometimes be a bit of a bully to our Lurcher. and when she is, I "own" him. literally, position my body in authority to him, and think "I own him, he is mine, you can't treat him as yours" vibes, and she soon backs off and leaves him alone.
you can't lie to a dog though. you have to beleive it, or your body won't say it.

They are like lie detectors I guess. I've seen in some of the episodes wherein the owner really has to believe in themselves, or else the dog will not acknowledge it.
I personally realized that I am not the pack leader at home. I've started having walks with my dog, which actually makes him calm and more manageable. This will be a long process, but it is worth it.:)
