I just want to know the reason. Is it because they are bad ? or banned in their country? Is it really fair ?

Like I've said before in my earlier response, if you study those tasks (I had checked them), they involve some survey work and ring tone download. It may not be done by every international member here in mylot.

All the replies makes sense to me. I'm also wondering. Now I know. First, I felt like there some kind of criticism and bias going on. Some task not intended for philippines are those the ones that pays high. Kinda disappointing but I know now the reason.

It is not about BAD or BANNED, FAIR OR UNFAIR, it is PREFERENCE.
Let's take an example. You are a landlord. You have some extra empty rooms in your building. You would want a tenant or tenants from a particular community or from your own community, won't you?
May be you won't mind any community but you now know I am trying to mean.

Nope, they are not bad. India and the Philippines have a lot of big foreign companies as clients, as far as outsourcing is concerned because they write and speak English well and require lower pay. Some tasks in mylot require residents of a certain country only because, for example, the task involves a survey of companies, restaurants located in that country. The task might only involve those who have direct knowledge or had some previous experiences with the companies, restaurants, and other business entities there.
As for downloading ring tones, it's well-understood. Cellular networks do not operate internationally. Even America's biggest (AT&T), serve mobile users who are residing in US only.

Thanks, phynx15, for choosing my response. I'm glad to know that you have already understood the reason or reasons behind those tasks.
