I would like to find out a bit of history about Winder GA. Winder was named after a man who was the general manager of a railroad company. This railroad company was instrumental for the growth of Winder at the turn of the century. In 1900 Winder set up industry, a telephone company, and several other industries came into being, including the hotel industry. I want to know the name of the first hotel in Winder GA at the turn of the century in 1900. Can anyone find that out for me, or give me a link? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks in advance! PQ
