My niece has an allergy that has been being treated by what are prescribed by the doctor. However, it cannot be treated. Many ointments were tried, but to no avail.
Then , her mother saw an ointment from a Taiwanese store, and it was very cheap, unlike those that were previously used. And wonders of wonders , after 3 days, the allergy dried out and was gone.
Just like that.

Yes, i am glad too. And i am also happy that your allergy has been diagnosed correctly and correspondingly treated. But i bet, it costs you a lot too.

It was an infection as what the doctor said. It was itchy and dry.
She was even prescribed a soap for allergy. Thanks for that Taiwanese ointment.

That doesn't sound like an allergy, that sounds like just an infection of some kind. Allergies don't go away, though you can get allergic reactions like hives and swelling to go away. Was it an allergic reaction or an infection of some kind? Cause if it was an allergic reaction, then I'd love to know what that stuff was cause I have really bad allergies and break out in hives and have swelling and stuff.
I doubt you discovered a cure for allergies, those are ongoing.

Allergies don't go away, I'm just wondering if you're not using the right term for something that's actually an active/inactive infection. An allergy is something you pretty much always have, something you have an immune system reaction to even though it's harmless. Allergies can be treated, or repressed through a treatment of allergies shots, but there really isn't a permanent cure for them. Allergic reactions on skin are stuff like hives, redness, itching, or swelling, and you have them after being exposed to your allergen. You sound more like you're describing a skin infection, and it's good that it's all cleared up... but I don't think you've eradicated an allergy.

Hmm, i am interested in that cure all ointment. Can you give the name please?
But i do have the "white flower" ointment, which i always have in my bag with me.
I always sniff at it, because it's minty and i like the odor.

I am really amazed at the Chinese , when it comes to medicines. Theirs are really so effective.
In my 20's i had an allergy too at the legs. It won't go away, even if it was being treated by a skin doctor at our province.
I went to Chinese Medical Hospital in Manila and had it treated by a Chinese doctor. She presribed a medicine which i took for one week and it was gone after that.
Amazing the Chinese are, when it comes to medicines like that.

I have been suffering skin allergies myself for about 5 or more years. It is very unpredictable! It just comes and goes(almost everyday) and I can never figure out which one is causing it. I have been taking my anti allergies since then and I know that it's not good at all when prolonged. I tried desensitizing myself with all common allergens and now I'm responding pretty well. I rarely get allergies now and I'm so happy that I'm not taking my anti allergies that often.:D

So you suffered 5 or more years before you have finally beaten that allergy. But i am glad, that you rarely get allergies now and you are out of your medicine.
But during those 5 years, have you not changed your skin doctor?

I visited the doctor only once. I didn't really find time to go back again because I was really busy at school then. I'm just glad it's over :)

Did you read everything written on the box? I guess it's a Chinese product. I have nothing against Chinese product but I have use some of that kind before, for my allergy as well or even for my skin itching. My mom bought it and had been using that product. It was a Chinese product and written in Chinese. But I got curious what were the ingredients of that product because it was really effective unlike other ointment. I look everywhere in the box and even the paper of that product. Its was all written in Chinese but there were one sentence I guess that was written in English and it says, "not for long term use. It contain ingredient that can damage liver in the future", something like that. I'm not really sure if it was kidney or liver that can be damaged. I told my mom about it and are not using it anymore 'coz we've used a lot before.

I don't really know if it's a Chinese or taiwanese product. I don't know how to decipher whether the letters are Chinese or taiwanese. But there was an English translation. It did have some warning like that.
I haven't been using it anymore, but i would like to buy one again, because my neck are even itching right now for almost an hour already . I would ask my niece what was it again.

I bought one again at the Taiwanese Store because i had an itchy infection or allergy last week. Ir's PhP8.00 for 2.5 mg. ointment.
I am glad, it's gone after four days.

Yea there are so many skin products are available now a days that are cheap and helps to reduce the skin irritation or allergy and mostly skins treatment should be done at home only because there is no better treatment then home remedies, but it is a good news that she is all fine now, sometimes small thing do wonders.

That true. It's a cheap skin treatment but its efficacy was incomparable to those expensive treatments we have tried for our niece.
Yes, those home remedies were tried too , but to no avail. But luckily, we found a treatment for her allergy, finally.
