want to buy new notebook

Hi friends..! :) I decided to buy a new notebook for me myself, soon, maybe early september this year. i do not think i will buy an expensive one, i have only about USD 200-250 in my budget to spend on this new notebook. But i really hope i can find a good notebook, from a well-known and well-trusted brand, user friendly, good performance, light and easy to bring anywhere, and have a long-lasting battery. i just think maybe there are some good opinions or suggestions about what is good to buy from you guys :) Thank you very much for your help! hello cgirl..iam indonesian too, like you..nice to meet you here.. i do hope someday you can collect some money for buying another notebook.. i think you must keep your money for a better quality of notebook..don`t be hurry for buying a bad quality of notebook or you feel regret..

hahaha.. i already bought the netbook, actually :) i chose ASUS, the lightest one with mee go for a faster internet connection. And i am nor regret it :) Honestly, i need that for my work because i get mobile a lot recently, and i dont want to take my laptop/notebook everywhere with me..it's heavier..! cgirl: I searched internet for your sake. please see this link. You get laptops approximately $300 or so. http://www.costhelper.com/cost/computers/netbook.html I think you can buy Toshiba laptop. HP mini laptop is $330 or so. But a good one will cost somewhere around $600.

If you are in america walmart had a special they were running for $198. It was an acer. Don't know how good the capability was on it though.

Hi soapies1973..! :) wow..you guys in America are so lucky then, the manufacturers are there, and i think thats why the price is cheaper in America than any other country.. :) i live in Indonesia, and unfortunately, there is no Wal-Mart here.. as far as i know, ACER is quite good too in quality, and the price is fair. thank you very much and have a nice day! :)

I have bought laptop a year ago and that was lenovo..I can say it has given me very good service..I have used all through my college days...Now a few days back one of my friend has taken a dell laptop and it looks nice but there are some problems with speakers..So i think it won't last for long...So for me lenovo still is the better choice for laptop...!! And finally wish you all the best for your laptop buying..Hope you bring the best one..!!but don't forget to let us know your experience after buying it..:-) Happy Mylotting...!

hi bond027..! :) thank you for sharing it with me and another mylot members here :) i know lenovo is a good one to buy, it is tough, not easily broken, and very good for one who loves playing games in laptop. but i think i will not buy lenovo, because i am low in budget now, and i already have laptop, it is HP laptop, for now i am searching a notebook, which is lighter and smaller than laptop :) Thank you and have a nice day ! :)

I don't think that you can really buy a "notebook" with the amount that you specified. I think, a "netbook" would be in that range. In the Philippines, most notebooks are priced around USD 300-400, but you can get a netbook for around USD 200-250, but not the high-end ones.

hi toniobacasno..! :) yes, you are right, i have the wrong idea before, netbook is what i am looking for..! :D I am waiting for any notebook and netbook fair now, so i can get lower price.. :) i think i will choose an ASUS or ACER netbook anyway.. thank you for your comment here and have a nice day!
