Our entire family is in sorrow today, a family member died today at 9am, he is my brother-in-law, husband of my youngest sister. He left his wife and 3 children, all boys. His eldest is 10 years old, next is 6 years old, and the youngest is an 8-month old baby.
Actually, my heavy feeling is for my sister because I pity her so much. She will face all the responsibilities as both mother and father to her children. How could she possibly do that when she does not have any means of income. My sister is a plain housewife only. How could she possibly work when she has little children to attend to. I know that we can support her, but I do not if we can sustain it. With God's mercy and grace I know she will survive, with our prayers and support too.
In the midst of this heavy heart for my sister and her children, there's something that I am also thanking for, and it is the death of my brother-in-law. He had a brain cancer. I have seen how he suffer and he really suffered much. I have seen how he fight for his life. His agony lasts for more than 2 years. And during those times that I even prayed the good Lord put an end to his suffering. And when we learned that he finally gone, I am thankful that death has arrived.
May he rest in peace.
