From metro Atlanta newspaper yesterday report, a lady who was driving while talking on the cell phone in the interstate, caused 2 teenagers death and one in critical condition. This lady was also taken antidepressant, and driving with a suspended license. She was trying to hit and run, but later arrested by police at the interstate, and accused her of vehicular homicide.
Overall, I think driving while talking on the cellphone is the major cause of this accident. Although the state explicitly interpret that people should not drive and talk on the cell, but from my daily experience, many people still do so. So, take it in mind, drive carefully, and chat less on the cell.

It is not a safe practice to drive and talk on your ceell phone. too much can happen in those few moments that you pay more attention to the phone than your driving. the cost can be more than you are willing to pay for not being caautious and safe woth your driving and your cellphone. if you nrrf to use your phone that badly, a wise choice would be to pull off the road for everyone's welfare and safety.

Hello sender621,
I'm agree with you.
When you are driving a car and you want to go talk on the cell phone, either you have to pull over and stop the car, either you have to use a handsfree device.
That's what a sensible man will do.
That's what should every person be doing.

It is really dangerous and I hate it. Every time I see someone doing stupid while driving I can pretty much guarantee that they will be chatting away on their cell phone not paying any attention to what they are doing as they are driving. They say it is comparable to someone who is slightly drunk as their reaction time will be severely handicapped as they talk on the phone.

Yes, driving while talking on the cell phone is really very dangerous. The thoughts are on the phone, and focusing on what the other person is saying. So, the attention needed on driving is very much reduced. Some times, I see drivers paying no attention at all to other cars on the road.

In fact, there had been a few campaigns going on in my country, to advise people the danger of driving while answering the phone. But, most people still ignored it. Because of that, there are still some accidents caused by this matter. It is pity to hear that 2 teenagers losses their lives due to this same matter, too. Just hope, day by day people will slowly realized the danger of answering phone while driving. As for myself, i never answer my phone while i was driving, although it had rang many times.

Yes , nowsday people are driving dangerous with texting and talking on the handphone, some even have installed portable dvd or tv screen on the front passanger seat and watching tv while driving and high speed and such.this is bad behaviour and will cause accident sooner than later. In my country police enforcement is lack and often bride are giving or asked for example a bride is $50 while the fine is $300 so better to give the fine.

This just shows that you cannot serve two masters at the same time. In order to succeed in doing something, one must focus on a single goal. In driving the goal is to reach a destination safely, so it is therefore necessary to take steps to prevent distractions from driving carefully like talking or text messaging through a cellphone and other similar actions.
