When it comes to social networking, I'm not all that picky. I rarely log onto either site, but use them quite frequently through my cell phone. I have both linked to many third-party applications, that updating my status is a breeze and effortless. I can also update, and change profile pictures or share what ever I want with a few taps on my phone. Though, the question wasn't how, but what my preferences were.
Personally I like both equeally as well. I don't think I could chose between them. WEach have their own pros and cons and balance each other out. That in my opinion is a huge plus.

The main difference between Facebook and Twitter ? complexity and simplicity. Facebook comes in a variety of features which is practically complete.
All are on Facebook: from simply updates the status to share links, share images, video sharing, messaging, blogging (note), even had fun chatting. Not only that, Facebook also provides a feature invitations (invitation), cause, quizzes, groups, and so on. Facebook seems to offer the concept of 'one-stop-visit'. By logging into Facebook, a person can do anything without having to Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Flickr, Youtube, Yahoo Messenger, WindowsMessenger, and so on.
Another difference, Twitter distinguish friend to 'following' and followers'. Following that is the friends who we follow, while the follower means to the friends who follow us. While on Facebook, all of our friends have a common denominator: 'friend'.
For now, I prefer Facebook.

I use both Facebook and twitter. I find them both useful. I like Facebook better because you can publish longer status updates on Facebook, but as a writer I post to both sites. I have a different audience on each. In my nonprofessional life I use Facebook more than Twitter, however.

Obviously, Facebook. For common people like us facebook is better. All your friends are from common category. At twitter most of the time you are just reading others tweets. Not much interesting at all. When you are a celebrity or some known figure twitter may be a little interesting.

Right now I prefer Twitter than Facebook.
The best thing about Facebook was connecting friends 24*7 online. twitter has change this. We can be connected with Celebs and other inspirational people on Twitter and get to know about whats happenings around this world.
Nowdays the breaking news are broke on twitter and many more good informations are found. All the big companies have started to keep their executives in twitter to respond to their clints also.

I have accounts on both Facebook and Twitter, but I really prefer Facebook. I can post longer in Facebook than in Twitter. Twitter is more like "professional" than Facebook. And Facebook has so much to offer than Twitter.
